Between honky-tonks on Broadway, catch tomorrow's country stars playing for tips beside veterans who've seen it all. The Grand Ole Opry still broadcasts live, while the Ryman Auditorium's perfect acoustics explain why it's called the 'Mother Church of Country Music.' Beyond twang, explore the National Museum of African American Music's interactive exhibits celebrating overlooked musical pioneers. The Musicians Hall of Fame honors the session players behind your favorite hits. After dark, locals skip tourist traps for authentic bluegrass jams in unassuming East Nashville bars. Even non-country fans find themselves tapping toes at the Station Inn, where bluegrass virtuosos perform with casual brilliance in a room that hasn't changed since the 1970s.

Dolly Parton's SongTeller Hotel
"Could not have been more pleased with our stay!! The hotel is gorgeous and so thoughtfully designed. Felt like staying in Dolly's home for the night."
Knights Inn Nashville
"This hotel right of I24 in dowtown Nashville falls under the "don't judge a book by its cover" category. I'm always leary about inns to start with, but this property doesn't look like it'd be all that great due to the immediate surroundings; however, TopGolf is right across the street and there is nice residential housing close too. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was small, but the hot water and pressure was the best I've experienced in a hotel for quite some time. If you are looking for something downtown but not expensively right by Broadway, Knights Inn could be a choice for you."

For an affordable trip that allows you to experience the city's rich history and vibrant culture, consider staying for at least 2 to 3 days. This timeframe offers great value for money, giving you the chance to explore key landmarks, enjoy live music, and take in the local entertainment scene, including theater and museums. You can also check out sports events or indulge in some fun activities like ice skating and roller skating during your visit.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To find last-minute deals to Nashville, start by exploring the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals section on Hotels.com, where you may discover discounted hotel rates as your travel date approaches. To stay informed about flash sales and special promotions, consider enabling email alerts or push notifications from Hotels.com. Additionally, use the Smart Shopping tool available in the app to compare hotel prices and amenities, helping you find the best options for your stay. This way, if rooms become available or prices drop, you'll be among the first to know for your last-minute getaway.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate based on factors like the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates may help you find a better deal for your stay in Nashville. If you're interested in distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels often provide a more personalized experience and may offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we'll inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher end, we’ll suggest alternative dates that could be more budget-friendly.
- Consider your location: Hotels near the city center usually tend to be pricier, but with Nashville's fantastic public transportation options, you might discover a more affordable independent hotel located a bit further out that’s still conveniently connected. For those interested in exploring alternative, less crowded neighborhoods or even nearby lesser-known cities, there is often great value to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could lead to a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
