There is so much history in Tainan! Visit the fort at AnPing to see the influence from the Dutch. Also visit the Taiwan History Museum which is convenient to get to via taxi. (Taxis are relatively inexpensive and available using the Uber App).

A nice city with historic sites, famous night market and modern developments. There is a local tech industry that boosts the economy. Google translator works, which helps a lot if you do not have a Chinese speaker in tour party.

"The hotel is not far from train station. Staff welcomed us warmly and friendly and the Check In went smoothly. It’s also walkable distance to popular local food area."
"This is a wonderful hotel. This is the second time I stayed here and everything was great! Rooms are clean. Staff is very friendly, room service was good. Location in was great for us. "
"The hotel is immaculate and has all the amenities needed for a family to stay for a week. The breakfast buffet also offers a variety of food for many days of the stay. The staff is welcoming and kind, always willing to assist in any way they can. The hotel provides a business office for guests to conduct business during the stay. "
"Overall this hotel is very convenient, comfortable, clean and amazing. The front desk staff was very helpful, they arranged transportation for us and it was a breeze checking in and out. The room were spacious. The breakfast was delicious. The best part it is next to a giant mall with plenty of shopping and food selections."
"No frill hotel but very clean, efficient, and easy going. Very little food in the immediate vicinity but Uber Eats comes quickly and lots of choices on nearby Shengli Rd, 10 min walk away. Not near all the scenic spots so need to rely on cabs or Uber."
