After a somewhat sketchy stair climb this place is one of the most charmful spots in Zhangjiajie to stay. It should be noted they had ample staff to help haul up the luggage.
Our host, Hom, greeted us at the bottom of the stairs upon arrival and was great throughout our entire stay.
Xiaomei is the boss lady, and was extremely hospitable. We only stayed two nights and were originally staying in one of their chalet rooms. On the second night she upgraded us to the glass room, which was a very cool experience!
The chef, Baozi, was great also. We would order off the menu, or just let him through whatever he felt like together. It was always delicious.
The only negatives we found were they were under a bit of construction, and it’s a little bit of a drive to Wulingyuan, the airport, and other sites on the east side of the park.
That being say, once you get their its super cozy. The rooms are very clean, nice new bathrooms, and a fantastic staff. Overall, we would definitely recommend the Glass Inn for a less sanitized, typical hotel-type stay!
