Would not stay here again.
This was truly the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. Our room was not in good shape at all, it was very run down. The beds and pillows were extremely uncomfortable. The comforters provided were gross so we asked for more, but never got them. The outdoor pool was nice, but the indoor pool was dirty! From when we first arrived you could smell someone smoking weed throughout the whole parking lot, which we didnt like but it wasnt a huge deal. However our last night we had a group of people fighting literally at our door and yelling at other guests who asked them to stop.. we called the front desk and they did come over. I do think they made some of them leave, but there was still a group there that kept yelling. We were nervous after that so we decided to leave for the night. The staff was nice to us when we checked in/out, but it was still a terrible experience. I wish I had seen other reviews warning of the negatives of this hotel before I booked. I know it wasn't specifically the hotels fault for what happened with the other guests, but I was upset they didn't make all of them leave after that. But I just wanted to share our experience so people can be aware.

No dish detergent or coffee left in room.Room service every 4 days unless requested. You can go down to front desk for clean towels,garbage bags they may or may not have.But you do have a beautifully beach to look at.Also if you do plan on cooking a meal of any kind bring cookware from home.

Palmetto staff was really nice. Spring Break guests in the next room were not. Very loud. Explicit lyric music blasting. Heard every word their drunken conversations until about 4am. We stayed one night, then left the next day even though we paid for two nights through Hotels.com. Would be great to get the second night refunded. Palmetto said it would be up to Hotels.com to refund us.

Bamboozled by pictures
This hotel was just down right gross. We checked in around 5 which I stood there for over 30 minutes waiting.They didnt even have the rooms ready for the guests in front of me and check-in was 4pm. There were multiple guests coming in and complaining about how dirty their rooms were. There was only one person at the check-in counter and 2 people in front of me. The rooms were dirty. The shower had buggers on the wall and the floors were covered in something orange that clearly had been there for a long time. The bedding had yellow stains all over it. The coffee pot still had coffee rings on it so that definitely wasn't cleaned. The room had an aweful smell that immediately punched you in the face when walking in.And the AC was blowing hot air. The staff just laughed and walked away when something was said to them. They clearly didnt care. Do not waste your money here!!! The pictures must be old bc the bedding is completely different and the hotel looks way nicer. If you do not get an ocean view you are up against the road or accross the street at a crack looking building.

Nice Stay
"Our stay was pleasant overall. The staff was very courteous, and the property was clean and well maintained. However, at check-in, we were informed that maid service was available every other day, but we did not receive it. We also couldn't get fresh linens until the end of our stay, which meant we had to wash and reuse them ourselves. Aside from this issue, everything else met our expectations." We would definitely stay here again.

They show you a Hotel on the beach...But when you book a room you get the MOTEL across the street. The pillows were 3 different colors ( 2 white,1 Yellow and 1 brown) hair dryer busted. Guys walking past your room smoking weed trying to look in your window. The MGR wants to yell and argue from 10ft away. When I tried to explain this isnt what I booked. "Show me your email" Was all she kept repeating. When I pulled up my email, it showed the HOTEL on the beach...but in small letters on confirmation. ( hence AFTER YOU BOOKED IT) It says no beach view...not ACROSS the street. VERY DECEPTIVE...NOT HOW I WANTED TO SPEND MY B-DAY VACA. Now I see they charged my card $15. This otta be interesting to see what I am getting ripped off for...

Good Overall
Although our room was clean and quite spacious, this resort is in need of a makeover. I was pleasantly surprised that all rooms are beachfront. However, this property is lacking amenities and service. I feel there is much potential, as its location, pool area, and pristine beach are great features on which to build a first class hotel.
