Papagayo é um paraíso
Uma experiência maravilhosa. Só vivendo mesmo. Tem um mercado lá que ajuda muito e reduz custos de alimentação, principalmente desjejum. Não conheço outros, mas seguramente esse é um dos melhores hotéis de Curaçao

Outdated rooms
Rooms are outdated and need renovation. Cleaning was done very late (early evening) and one day not even done. Sinks are yellow due to long use. Airco was leaking (above the pillow of the bed) and spiders web was not removed for a long time.

I absolutely loved this property. The room was modern and clean. I loved the walk in shower (there is room for improvement) as far as walls being cleaner. Location is a 10. Staff was very helpful, friendly, and professional. Kayla was my absolute favorite. I will return to the property.

The room service is terrible, the house keeping never cleaned the room properly, dust, dirty floors,toilet have to be cleaned by us , no silverware in the rooms , a lot to improve.

The property itself is nice but there are a few problems but that's not what I want to leave this review for. This review& the low star rating is for an experience that I had with one of the workers,her name begins with K. SHE WORKS PREDOMINANTLY WITH THE PILOTS AND Attendants. She is fair complexioned,on the chubby side& wears glasses. The young lady was helping me when one of the pilots walked up she told me that I will be with you in a second and began to assist him & I said well how can you help him when you're not finished helping me. She responded that she needed to assist him. I posed the question again. This young lady looked me square in my face & instead of explaining to me her sole responsibility, she basically told me that this white pilot is her priority& continued assisting him. I was offended. to make a long story short.I told her about herself & her lack of professionalism. I also spoke to the manager who the day we were leaving seemed to be chummy ,chummy w/the young lady so I don't think any type of action was taken. Whoever is reading this you need to RETRAIN some of the people that work there. Also, there needs to be training for all of the housekeepers that clean the rooms. There needs to be a uniform way of doing things. I'm of the persuasion that if I am spending my money I expect a certain level of service which was lacking. Papayago, please take a page out of the book of the Marriott in Grand Cayman Just came back & service was ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 stars!

O quarto estava com retorno de esgoto, com um cheiro muito forte. Uma pessoa da limpeza disse que era cheiro de tinta, mas impossível . Estava com o cheiro muito ruim . A luz principal deixou de funcionar 2 dias , mas depois foi resolvido. O atendente do bar Natanael exigiu segurar nosso cartão de entrada no quarto como garantia para abrir uma conta , sendo que não pedia nada disso para os hóspedes holandeses . Mariana ótimo atendimento, academia boa, instalações boas. Uma outra mulher também foi rude com minha esposa ao dizer que tinha que pagar um valor extra pra ficar no bangalô . Gritando meio desesperada . Ela possuía cabelo vermelho , mas não lembro o nome.

Muito bom!
Hotel grande e com várias opções de restaurantes e beach clubs. Quartos grandes, confortáveis e limpos. Pode-se comprar em um supermercado anexo água, comidas e bebibas o que facilita bastante, já que no frigobar não há nada. Nos restaurantes o atendimento é cordial e simpático. Check in e check out rápidos. O hotel é muito bom! P.S. para quem necessita de acessibilidade o hotel não é o mais recomendado.

Property is really nice but staff are entitled and rude. Lobby staff are not welcoming and people that work at the restaurants for breakfasts are rude, or at least the hosts. Curacao is an amazing place and I was super excited to go to Papagayo but it’s just an ok place.
