Said its overbooked and told us to go to their partnered hotel and refuse to refund, guaranteeing same quatlity of service and room type. Yet, when we arrived that hotel, we found that everything is not working: wardrobe door is broken, without a safety locker, window handle is broken that I cannot lock the window (we are at 2/F and it was climb to our room from outside) , the lamp in toilet is not working... So I request to change room, yet they said there wasn't any room with the same size left and told us to stay in that room for one night or give money to upgrade to a bigger room which is totally unacceptable. After we decided to ask for refund and wanted to find another hotel, they finally agreed to upgrade us for free to a bigger room. Yet it was still horrible as the room was not clean, there were fruit seeds on the floor, cigarette marks on bed and the room is filled with smoking smell. Yet it was already late and we have already wasted so many time so we decided to stay.The breakfast 'buffet' was tiny and the food didn't look good. I would never book this hotel again. Worst experience in Expedia.
