10月の初ハノイ、友人と二泊でお世話になり、とても快適に過ごすことができました。予約時点でお得だったツインの内窓の部屋（朝食付き）を選んで利用しましたが、このタイプの部屋は外側に向いた窓が無いため外光を取り込むことができず室内は照明を全て点けても常に暗めでした。ただ、しっかりした壁に囲まれていたおかげか夜も静かに過ごせましたし水回りや清掃、冷房についても全く問題ありません。日中はほぼ外出していたため暗さについて特別気になることはありませんでした。暗さが気になる方は確実に窓のある部屋を選ぶかリクエストするのがいいと思います。朝食は上階の眺めの良いレストランでビュッフェ形式の朝食をいただきます。メニューのラインナップは一般的なものだったと思いますが滞在中に毎回パッションフルーツを食べられて嬉しかったです。ホテルのスタッフの皆さんは親切で拙い英語の自分ともなんとかコミュニケーションを取ってくださって感謝しかありません。立地も良く、ホアンキエム湖周辺や旧市街の散策にはもってこいでした。また利用したいホテルです。

Lovely hotel, great location

Great location right in the heart of the old quarter so lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Staff were friendly and helpful and the onsite breakfast and restaurant were fab. I stayed in a balcony room and the outside space was great. The only downside was my hotel transfer from the airport to the hotel which did not show up which meant my arrival was a bit stressful. My advice, book yourself a grab instead

Exceptional Hotel

This hotel was our favourite one during a 4 week holiday in Vietnam. Exceptional service by all staff. Rooms were lovely and comfortable, and the breakfasts were next level, definitely the best we have had. You won’t be disappointed we highly recommend 👍👍

Gorgeous hotel

We loved this Hotel. It’s beautiful interior, rooms etc. The breakfast was amazing. Rooftop bar is great. The beds are also super comfortable. A fantastic location.

Excellent hotel and staff, however, roads are closed in the Old Quarter Fri-Sun evenings which cause issues for taxi rides.

Perfekt lokation, virkelig dejligt sted. Sødt personale. Fin lobby. Værelser er ok, kunne godt bruge nogle justeringer. Badeværelse ringe kvalitet . Alt i alt en god oplevelse i forhold til lokationen. Vi elskede placeringen og vil derfor vælge hotellet igen en anden gang.

Staff were all so Friendly and welcoming. Rooms clean and cosy and location of the hotel very convenient; near many attractions such as Hoan Kiem lake and the weekend night market. Many selections at breakfast and thoughtful inclusions in the room; staff, notably Hannah made sure we were well taken care of & our airport transfers arranged well.

Luxury in an excellent location

We stayed here for three nights in two stays with our Halong Bay cruise in between them. We wanted to travel light and take just backpacks. Hotel had no issue in keeping our suitcases safely locked away for us. From the moment you arrive to the time you depart, you can expect top class service with lots of friendly smiles. One of the front desk managers , Sophie (I guess this as she wore a smart business suit compared to the others who were in traditional Ao Dai outfits), went out of her way to make sure we got our Halong Bay tour bus. As it was a bigger bus it couldn’t come down our tight street so she took the call from our guide and then personally escorted us with one of the doorman up to the corner where she had arranged for us to be picked up. The room was modern in a classic French style and everything worked perfectly. It was small but it was what we paid for and what you expect in a major city where land is precious. We actually got an upgrade to same room type but a better view on both occasions, one with lake views on the top floor. Very comfortable with a great walk in shower and top notch bed and bedding. Breakfast is on the twelfth floor with views of the city and Lake Hoan Kiem. Staff are very friendly & very attentive & switched on. The buffet itself is EXCELLENT! Egg station includes Eggs Benedict & also local noodle soup. The location is very convenient. Definitely no hesitation in recommending this hotel as a great base to explore Hanoi.

We stayed here for three nights split into two stays with our Halong Bay cruise in between them. My partner and I had an wonderful experience at May De Ville Lakeside hotel. Its service was exceptional, particularly by Hannah. The rooms are spacious, the bed was so comfortable, and the room service menu was tasty and priced reasonably. The hotel's location is also convenient, central to all the attractions around the Old Quarter and close walk to the Ho Hoan Kiem lake as well as steps away to the weekend market. We throughly enjoyed our stay at May De Ville Hotel in Hanoi and we highly recommend!

Really friendly staff great customer service. Especially with young children the staff were amazing. The only slight disappointed the restaurant was not the best food for the money. A bit too much salt among other criticisms. But there are some great places just outside the hotel so don't let that put you off. The hotel is in a great location with lots of things to do and places to see.
