Let me start by saying the 2 young gentleman that checked us in were great. They were very respectful and polite. The hotel is a cute boutique hotel right on the ocean. Upon entering the room the overall atmosphere was wonderful. Could use better housekeeping. There was hair on the floor, in the shower and on the bed. That’s ok since I have long hair I get that it’s hard to get it always. But there were still whiskers on the sink where someone had shaved. Unacceptable.
Now here’s where I reached the end of my rope. I was asleep, and woken up by the sound of little feet in the ceiling. By little feet I mean RATS YES RATS. I have an extreme phobia to rats, extreme is not the correct word but I’m unclear if what word to use that is stronger than that. Obviously I left the room. My boyfriend went to the office and they offered to move us. They wanted to move me from 217 to 316. So just the room above it. HELL NO! Needless to say we left. Then they have the audacity to not refund my money. That’s ok I’ll call the Health Department tomorrow and report that.
