The staff and other guests were very welcoming and amenable! The breakfast and happy hour every day were beyond expectation and super tasty. The rooms were always cleaned and contained all the amenities that you would need. Very walkable to main attractions but the property is in a quieter part of town which is great for nighttime.

Great Gay Guesthouse
Clean, friendly, relaxed, Alexander's was the perfect get-away guesthouse. I was in Key West on business, and so didn't hang around much. But when I was there, the staff and the guests were friendly without being overbearing. The rooms were quiet and cozy and relatively spacious. There was a good selection at breakfast, and my only complaint about food is that they served coffee mate instead of real milk products for your coffee. Ugh! (A convenience store at the end of the block saved the day.) Though the beds were not up to the level of those in some pricey hotels, they were warm and comfortable. The cancellation policy is stringent...but maybe that is necessary in Key West. Overall, I can't wait to go back, and will do so on my next stay in paradise!

We loved our stay at Alexander’s. Upon arrival Tim helped us with our bags and showed us the facilities. He also made some recommendations for restaurants. The breakfast and happy hour were fantastic. We had fun meeting the other guests. While there a tropical storm came through the area, Laura communicated with us via text the entire morning to make sure everything was ok. She even ordered lunch for the entire resort when the power went out. I can not say enough about their customer service. Our room was delightful. It was beautiful, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The pool area and sun decks had plenty of space and were beautifully decorated. The lobby area was also gorgeous. The resort is at the quiet end of the street. We were able to walk to almost everything we wanted to do. They resort does have bikes on property for rent, which was convenient. We loved our stay and have already booked our return. I highly recommend this resort.
