The women at the front desk ran the whole property. She made sure we had everything we needed. The property is in a little village walkable to resturants and shopping. I would definitely stay here again.

ein schönes altes Fachwerkhaus mit nett eingerichteten Zimmern. MItten in der Altstadt mit Parkplätzen in unmittelbarer Nähe, am Wochenende kostenlos.

Hyggeligt gammelt meget centralt beliggende hotel. Værelset var faktisk en suite med havestue og tagterasse. Meget hyggelig lille by.

perfect location, great stay.

Quaint little place right in a historic building on the square of this adorable town. Nice size room, very clean, great bathroom, friendly staff. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel, but it looked delicious. If you're very tall, this place might not be for you.

Alles Prima!

Ich kann das Altstad-Hotel nur weiterempfehlen. Check-in war promt. Das Zimmer und Bad waren prima und super sauber. Auch das Bett war bequem und das Zimmer ruhig. Auch das Fruehstueck war sehr gut.

Gutes Hotel

Schönes Hotel, jedoch ließ der Service bei Ankunft sehr zu wünschen übrig, Frühstück gab es leider wegen Corona nicht, war aber inkl. gebucht, Zimmer schön & leise

Heiße Nacht und kalte Dusche

Dieses alte Haus wurde sehr gut renoviert. Wir konnten die alte Fachwerkstruktur in unserem Zimmer sehen und hatten dabei ein modernes Bad (Zimmer 10). Leider war trotz lüften das Zimmer zur Nacht unerträglich aufgeheizt. Als wir dann am nächsten Morgen Duschen wollten gab es nur kaltes Wasser. (Dumm für den Pächter, wenn der Eigentümer die Gasrechnung nicht zahlt.) Frühstück war OK und wurde für jeden Gast einzeln vorbereitet.

TOP Lage, romantisches, kleines Hotel

Altes Fachwerkhaus super restauriert. Sehr geschmackvolle Zimmer, modernes Bad. Alt mit Neu super in Einklang gebracht. Gutes Frühstück und nettes Personal. Das Hotel liegt mitten im Zentrum, die Fahrräder konnten wir im Haus einschließen. Wir waren positiv überrascht. Übrigens auch sehr sauber. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir sind unwissentlich in ein Großevent geraten- den Schelmenmarkt- d.h. parken am Haus ging nicht. Aber wir haben uns damit arrangiert, es war kein Problem und sogar abends richtig gemütlich. Die Hotellage, die Ausstattung und Freundlichkeit haben uns sehr gefallen. Das Frühstück war vielseitig und sehr gut. Was mir nicht so gut gefallen hat war, dass der Frühstücksraum ein Innenraum ohne Fenster war (aber nett eingerichtet) und das die Junior-Suite Teppichboden hatte (aber das sehen andere sicher ganz anders). Alles in Allem sehr gut und sehr gerne wieder. Tolles Haus und freundliche Menschen in einer tollen Altstadt!

For a wedding

Stayed here for nights for a wedding. Very comfortable hotel, clean, tidy and no fuss. Dont come expecting fancy receptions and busy bars. It really is a large B&B. Would definitely use again.

Great bed & mattress. Plenty of hot water. TV worked fine / big and modern. Central location. The challenge is parking which you will have anywhere in towns in “old Europe “.

We could not stay the night at this hotel. The check in hours are only from 1600-2200. We arrived at 1630 and had to wait about 30 minutes for someone to show up to check us in. Once checked in we got to our room and it was dusty. We attempted to access the WiFi from our room but could only get it to work in the hall way. We then asked the front desk about it and they took us to another room. It was the same situation. Normally I would not care about WiFi but we needed to check into our flights for the next day and we were already having a bad experience. I won’t even go into the check out process we were told about... maybe stay here if you speak German and don’t need WiFi, or if you don’t care about having good customer service.
