The AC in my unit was down the whole stay. There were only two solutions that were provided to me when I brought this issue to the staff. Either I get a full refund or I just ride out the broken AC. Considering it was a Friday night during summer and all hotels nearby were booked, I went with the ride out the broken AC. I was promised that I would be moved to a new room with working AC the following morning. When I checked in about the situation the next morning, as told to do, I was met with attitude and being told that they were overbooked and could not accommodate what I was promised. I was told maintenance would come fix the AC while I was out. When I came back the AC was not fixed. The receptionist at the time (the one who promised the new room) was upset that the other person did not fulfill the request of getting a new room. The only rooms they had available also had no AC so I had another night without AC. I was told I would get a 30% discount. Which would be $100. They refunded me a sad $45. Imagine being in Florida. During summer. WITH NO AC. I will never go to this hotel again. Not just because the AC was broken but because obviously the staff not only continuously lies, but also does not communicate nor care for their customers.
