The setting on a working ranch was great and authentic. The log cabins we stayed in were nice, with large bathrooms, kitchenette, porch and nice amenities. The private setting was also nice, both for inside privacy and the view was great. One negative for the stay was the dining situation, where there is only one dining option onsite and no other restaurants for miles and miles. There were very long waits for tables, uninterested/unprofessional wait staff with very slow service, overpriced entrees that were average, and overall poor dining service. Back on the positive was a great community feeling of guests (small number), a fire pit where people would hang out, and lawn games. The working ranch provided for gardens of fresh produce, grazing buffalo, pigs, sheep, and horses, and more. A unique experience and nice private getaway.
