Worst hotel stay 2025 / awful room / bad service
On check-in I was asked to pay extra for room upgrade. Unfriendly staff. After denying to pay more than the pre-paid price. I was given a room that urgently needs more than just simple maintenance. I haven‘t stayed in such a rocked down place for many years.
I could only take a cold water shower, there was no hot water at sink or shower. Floor and sink were broken (see pics). Dirty towels and dirty and old (very loud) Air Con. No toilet paper or tissues in the room, had to get own paper tissues from my car. No plastic bag for the dirty ice bucket, so could only fill the cup I brought myself to that place. Next morning friendly and understanding staff at front desk. She wanted to clarify with the manager about reimbursement. No reaction from hotel side afterwards. Filed complain at general Motel 6 customer line. Got offered a 10% discount for next booking. This is a joke and I will not book Motel 6 for some time now. Complain to expedia as booking operator filed to at best take this hotel off the offering. Service coucher from expedia received. We all make mistakes or have bad days, but if a hotel get‘s the chance to solve the problem and just didn‘t care at all to find a solution, this is the really important message. STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION
