Very cute, old, historic Hotel. The Cuban restaurant inside the Hotel was actually delicious with great service! The employee at the front desk who works days is really nice and helpful as well. Shower was great in the bathroom, fridge worked great,bed was decent. I liked the room and the only thing that was a little annoying (and totally out of tne hotel’s control) is that the road is pretty noisy/trafficky. Otherwise, I liked it and would return!:)

Charming hotel conveniently located to downtown, could walk to everything. Room was clean layout good for a weekend stay although the linens were not clean on the pull out sofa, had to request new. Hotel staff friendly and check in and check out a breeze. Rooftop bar noise well past midnight.

Such a unique & fun place to stay in the heart of downtown Deland! Took advantage of the bar upstairs on the rooftop as well as in the lounge, it was so fun. Loved that they kept the original stairs in the building & kept all the character throughout. Had a blast, will definitely be coming back!!

Very nice historic hotel. Plus / minus on being co-located with busy Cuban restaurant. The food at the Cuban restaurant was excellent, but makes the hotel smell like oil and food. Parking also becomes an issue because of the restaurant. The hotel is an excellent location for all things downtown Deland.

The hotel is lovely, staff great. Arrived no elevator working (were on 3rd floor) Staff helped. Heater couldnt figure out tried to call downstairs (phones dead) Ran down 3 flights of stairs. Heater is living room worked but in bedroom just blew cold air. Looked for remote for tv in bedroom (none) Ran down 3 flights (no phone) of stairs. Told to try using other tv remote. Didnt work but then noticed that the light had been plugged in where the tv cord was hanging. Unplugged light and plugged in t.v. Tried turning on from side manually but only 2 channels. Toilet ran and wouldn't always flush. My main concern here is the phones dead. My husband is in his 70's and if there had been an emergency I couldnt of called anyone and would have had to run down 3 flights of stairs to get someone to call. The hotel is not worth the cost to stay there, we could of stayed at Courtyard and had better luck with things working.

The hotel staff are very helpful and friendly, however their maid service is terrible. I had to ask for toilet paper. The room was not cleaned or paid any attention to. They have large TVs on the wall in the bedroom which is next to the bed and you bang against it at night. Neither TV worked and had cords hanging off the TVs. No microwave in the junior suite, just a mini fridge, phones didn’t work, elevator broken, coffee maker overflowed, no front desk staff. Definitely feel overcharged. Great location and clean.

We spent $350 for a "suite". In Deland. Deland. Room was dated, not a suite. Dirty. Long black hairs in the bathroom. We are both short haired males. Mismatched furniture. An antiquated ac unit that couldnt cool even the small room in December. Pricey "suite" that faced the street. Late night and early am noise, with no thought to minimizing. Seriously, $350 a night? A dirty and 1990's dated room? In Deland? The separate downstairs bar was great. Go for the drinks. Stay at the Marriot down the street for less than 1/2 the price and Uber. Tremendously disappointed in this property.
