A wonderful stay
We enjoyed a one night stay at this beautiful Inn. The staff were great and welcoming. The room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was eggs with avocado toast and it was delicious. A short drive to downtown Canal Street and Flagler Beach. Highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful B&B small hotel
For us a perfect size, about 10 units, very well kept- friendly service- and a home like atmosphere. Bed was comfortable, and room very quiet. NIce view from all rooms. The breakfast was excellent. All in all a very good value

We stumbled upon this place while driving up to New Smyrna Beach and let me tell you we are SO happy we did. This place was excellent in all areas. The design and decorations were top tier and the location is perfect. We will most definitely be back and highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Our room was nicely decorated and roomy. Our room had a balcony that faced the water so we sat and had our coffee there in the morning, which was so nice! The hosts thought of eveything! I would def stay here again.

An Elegant Inn
We knew nothing about New Smyrna or the Black Dophin when we booked our trip for a week. What a pleasant surprise. The Inn is facing the gorgeous bay with views of handsome sailboats as the sun comes up. You can have your delicious, daily varied breakfasts brought to your room, but there are very pleasant areas to sit outside in the courtyard or on the front porch. The breakfast chefs are outstanding and Jennifer is always available to help in any way. She found that we had left pills behind and she kindly sent them to us on her own by Fedex. Taylor was an exceptionally genial host, who went out of his way to make sure we were happy. The Inn is a real gem, with plentiful parking, and easy access to the beach, boat tours, and the many historical curiosities of New Smyrna.

We stayed at the Black Dolphin Inn for two nights, and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The hotel is in a beautiful building, in quiet residential area, overlooking the water. The room we had was on the ground floor, and was extremely spacious, clean and comfortable, with furnishings to complement the art deco style of the building. The staff here were extremely friendly and made our stay so much more enjoyable. There was a complimentary breakfast included in our stay, and this was made fresh each morning. You are given the choice of having breakfast in the dining area of the hotel, or it can be delivered to your room. There are a few dining options for evening dinner about a fifteen minute walk away, which we found very convenient. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Black Dolphin, and would definitely recommend staying here.

The stairs outside were extremely slippery and i fell. I have scraps and bruises. When i reported it i was asked if i wanted an ibuprofen or an ice pack. I was not satisfied with the handling of the situation.

Stunning property. A real gem of a hotel. Lots of outside areas to sit and relax with beautiful views. Breakfast is served in the rooms which was a wonderful surprise but if you don’t want to eat in your room you can take your breakfast to the gardens. A very relaxed atmosphere.
