Amazing stay at a fantastic hotel. Highly recommend. Rooms are stunning. Only downside was pool service - would benefit from having a pool service. You can order food and drinks at the bar, and they are delivered to you at the pool - but you can’t directly order from the pool. This is a shame as it’s the only downside. Otherwise an exceptional hotel in a fantastic location. I would find it hard to stay anywhere else if I visited Singapore again.

The hotel is newly renovated that opened about 6 months ago.The overall decor is lovely, modern yet adhering to the British Classic vibe of the building. I think the hotel needs more time to work out the kinks. I had a junior suite, the main room was very small no space to even ope the luggage rack. Also there was no outlet it plug in the hairdryer in the bath or vanity area. The higgr ceilings are a plus, making the rooms seem open and larger. My mini suite faced the trail where people are walking by so rhe blinds need to stay shut. Thr lighting was hard to operate and the AC fan ran all the time and got the room too cool. But rhe decor was nice and the marble bathroom was beautiful. Staff helpfulness was uneven. The restaurant for breakfast after was in great need of help. The hot food order was mixed up 2 of the 3 mornings I was there and the service was quite slow.. Also, when i asked for water i saw the waiter pour a glass from the faucet, bottled water was only available for a fee, despite the high cost for the buffet breakfast. The gym was very well equipped. The setting is nice, within Fort Canning Park and the nearest subway stop is not too far away.. The METT has all the ingredients to be a great hotel, after more time and training.

Superb hotel, not missing anything. The gym is the best I ever have visited in a hotel. It has all brand new Technogym equipment that any could request. I have been travelling for business and leisure the last 35 years so something to compare with. Breakfast wonderful included the service provided by the staff. The whole staff we met were kind, friendly and professional, thanks also to manager Robert, who arranged all issues we had plus more. Two minor notifications can be declared as a subject for improvement; no wc or shower at the gym and the bed was in my opinion to hard ( common issue in most hotels). We will definitely recommend METT Sgr for everybody who search for a cosy, luxury boutique hotel in historical building with a huge garden in the surrounds.

Rooms are really small and our first room smelled like there is mold problem. I would not recommend if you have allergies. The renovation was in progress. Not a five star hotel.

The decor and style of this hotel are exceptional. They’ve done a perfect job on the renovations being sympathetic to the buildings original history. Staff were also fantastic. Friendly & polite at all points. Nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely stay again.

Room was ok.. relatively small good amenities but the TV was not impressive with limited channels options as a substitute could eb smart tv to provide the flexibility but it wasnt smart tv. The room condition is new but require more effort cleaning.. the bath robs provided were not washed with obvious stain on one of them.. floor had hair all over which mean require more attention to details while cleaning . Bed is ok but i tried calling for pillow ebeded up calling ober 7 times with no one answering the call or re calling if the call was missed.. disappointed

Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by all the staff. The check in was such a lovely experience. Our room was beautiful and everything was squeaky clean. The scents in The Mett and The Mett bathroom products are very memorable, it was pleasant and we will always be reminded of our lovely stay whenever we smell something similar. The gym was fantastic, it had all the equipment we needed and it was so incredibly clean too. The pool was also great, it looks shallow but it was actually really deep which was awesome. We didn't have any complaints and every interaction with staff was fantastic, especially the staff manned at the outside of the hotel. Always going above and beyond when we waited for drivers. It was very lovely conversing with them too. The Mett made our first trip to Singapore a memorable one and we are so excited to come back again on our next trip. Thank you to the staff!
