Room was clean. Check in was great, desk girl real nice and helpful. Parking $10 and convenient. There is a little bar in the courtyard and a pool. Hotel is definitely dated, but kept up. Most definitely worth the stay. We will use again next time in Ft L.

The staff was very kind and attentive. Unfortunately the spa and gym were closed for renovations but I was able to use a gym in an resort part of the group. Minor glitches but handled nicely and easily. I would return.

The Royal Palms is in definite need of some TLC. While the room was spacious and clean, with good quality bedding, the mattress was old and had a few uncomfortable sags in it. The property is in rough shape with broken and aging furniture throughout the grounds. The gardens don't appear to be maintained and everything is in need of a good power washing and a coat of paint. While it appears to be a gated property, the gates were always unlocked or open and the entire property is open and accessible to the public. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful though they were often hard to reach because one person supports the front desk for a few nearby properties. This means you often need to use a call button to summon the front desk staff and it can take them up to ten minutes to appear. The Royal Palms is a member of the North Beach Village, a conglomerate of six or seven properties of similar vintage and quality. This property doesn't feature any bells and whistles but it does have welcoming staff, ample parking, and a fantastic location, just two blocks from the beach. Great for a budget-conscious traveller who prefers a beach to a "resort".

Experiência incrível! Passamos apenas uma noite para pegar o voo, mas me encantei com o hotel e com o lugar. O atendente fala português e é extremamente gentil. Hotel charmoso e encantador. I’ve arrived after midnight, the office was closed, but I’ve called the hotel and a very friendly attendant greeted me, checked me in, and showed me the room and the parking location. The room was impecable. Excellent service. Great value and location. Thanks!

There were no dressers for storing clothing. The bathroom tiles close to the floor had not been cleaned in ages. The beds were comfortable. The AC worked well. The shower shampoo, conditioner and gel smelled terrible, but worked ok.

The location is good, the rooms are not clean, nor is there any cleaning service in the rooms, the air conditioning in the rooms is very poor, I loved staying at that hotel but the quality has decreased a lot
