Absolutely disgraceful. Our room was completely buried in sand after the storm, luggage, belongings, everything coated. We spent hours cleaning them piece by piece. Management’s response? Nothing. No room change. No refund. No compensation whatsoever. This is beyond unacceptable, it’s negligent.

The rooms are small with very basic bathrooms. There is a fridge and coffee maker in rooms, but they are small for 4 people. The pool was ok but a bit dirty. Food at the restaurant for breakfast and dinner was nice and sensibly priced considering there is no other choice. Really disappointed that we bought a t shirt in the shop (because they did not have the one we wanted in the right size), found the right one in a other outlet and they refused to swap, literally a couple of minutes later.

Clean spacious rooms. The restaurant was good - the service was excellent, food was good. Overall the whole place exceeded my expectations given that it is so far from any civilization. I can see myself coming back if I were to visit Death Valley again.

Stovepipe Wells is a clean, well-appointed motel in convenient park location near the Mesquite Sand Dunes. We were happy with our stay, The only odd thing is the free coffee service is 9pm-7am, and for the money spent, it would be great if breakfast and coffee were included.

Really good stay. Some of the staff could have been a bit friendlier, but the majority were excellent and to be fair all were polite. Deluxe room was great and had everything we needed. The Saloon bar had a great choice of beers with good food.

Buffet Breakfast was very good and good choices. Very reasonable price! Debbie and Bobby were the best hosts!! Rooms weren't cleaned well and staff did not replace towels etc. Air Conditioner did not work. NOT ADA accessible.

Overall the stay was good. We had to fix the flush function of the toilet several times and the hair dryer had to be unplugged to shut ir off. Restaurant was pretty good. Overall, I'd stay there again.

The room was a good size. I appreciated that it had a small refrigerator and the freezer section was able to refreeze my ice packs. I didn't realize how the location would impact my visit to the park, since a lot of the biggest attractions are an hour drive away. This impacted my plans and I didn't get to see a sunrise at Zabriski point.

I would stay here again. The property and all services they offer in the middle of nowhere are not luxury by any means, but are very nice. There are a few good things on the menu, and the breakfast buffet was excellent. The rooms could use updating with new lenins and a coffee pot.
