Best hotel stay I ever had
It was probably the best hotel experience I ever had and I have travelled several times. Heyda before the trip went above and beyond to assist me in any way possible to prepare for my trip. The room and hotel is just stunning. The restaurant had amazing food. And the best part is probably the staff. They were so kind and courteous. I would recommend anyone staying in San Pedro to go to this hotel.

A real hidden jewel
The room we booked was beachfront and very spacious. The staff was so attentive and kind. Food in the restaurant was also delicious. We happened to meet the owner family who were so nice. The beach was far from the crowded area of San Pedro and water was so clear. You can snorkel and kayak using the equipment provided by the hotel.

Decent spot
Property is okay. It’s quite far north on the island which means it’s quieter (good) but involves a long drive on poor roads. Note that it’s fairly buggy in the area. Staff try hard and are pleasant. It’s a solid 3 star hotel. I would definitely rather stay at hidden jewel than close to San Pedro.

Hospitality was excellent. From check in to check out. The only feedback the restaurant felt VERY overpriced. Very small portions and price was very high compared to other places i went to. Quesadilla had one shrimp on each piece. Good food just very overpriced.

If I could give this place a 10, I would! If you’re wondering if you should book this place don’t even second guess it just book! The ambiance is so nice, it’s beautifully executed and it’s right on the beach. The staff is too nice, I enjoyed my stay, the only thing I’d advise is the drive is a little long from downtown and the road does get bumpy Along the way. But this hotel is a true hidden jewel! The name speaks for itself! Going to recommend to everyone I know.

The staff on the property we so helpful, accommodating with any request we had prior to arriving and while on vacation at the property. The staff learned our name the moment we arrived and always called us by name the entire vacation. They truly focus on making your vacation special. We ate at many locations on the island during our vacation. While the food was good at other locations. We think the food served at the resort restaurant was by far the best on the island and not overpriced for island prices. The room we stayed in was a nice bungalow. The bed was very comfortable, and the a/c worked great. We were there during peak mosquito season, and they were very minimal. Due to the resort having a mosquito spray system around the resort that you never noticed or have spraying while you are outside enjoying the property and scenery. The resort is located only 20 minutes north of town and 20 minutes from Secret Beach (by golf cart). The resort can help you with setting up a golf cart rental while you are there. If you let them know the need prior to your vacation. Hidden Jewel Resort is a definite spot we will return to on our next vacation to Ambergris Caye.

This is a beautiful boutique hotel. We were lucky enough to be in bungalow 2 which has ocean views from the bed and a gorgeous porch area that allowed us to take in the ocean breeze any time of the day. The mosquitoes will attack you heading into the hotel though so be prepared. Only con is this isn’t an adult only hotel. It was peaceful most of our days there but a large family came on our last 2 days and the vibes just weren’t the same.

This property is meticulously maintained. The staff are all incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The restaurant has incredible food. It's decently far out of town so you will need a golf cart to get there, but that led to it being extremely peaceful. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the room was spotless. There's an awesome dive shop/snorkeling tour company just down the road and they will pick you up from the dock out front! I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
