Another Fairfield I would stay in again.

Fairfield Inn in Lakeland continues my experience of a high-quality stay. The staff is friendly, the breakfast offerings are varied and plentiful, there is a guest laundry on site with laundry soap available for purchase. I also appreciated that this facility did *not* have a per-day parking charge.

I recently stayed at the Marriott Lakeland Plant City for a business trip and had a good overall experience. The property was close to the Plant City Strawberry Festival which is a big event for the community. The hotel offered courtesy service to the Festival for registered guests: a big plus. Also, the breakfast offered a variety of food. Very pleased with our stay.

There were a couple of issues with our room, but we notified the front desk and they were resolved quickly. The room was clean and the bed comfortable, which are the two issues that matter the most to us. As a bonus, there is a Dunkin Donuts next door. LOL

Nice hotel in a noisy location.

Anna went above and beyond to check us in after Hotels.com/Expedia failed to update our reservation. The hotel was clean and quiet and the bed was comfortable. The Hotel is located on a busy road in an industrial area, traffic can be heard throughout the night. Early that morning, we were awakened by the sound of someone playing their car stereo loudly in the parking lot. Law enforcement arrived and removed this individual from the area.

The experience with expedia was terrible. If the hotel staff had not been so great I wouldn't have had a place to stay. Iwill probably never use Expedia again nor wpuld I recommend Expedia to my froends or family.

I stayed in this property alone as this was the closest hotel in Plant City to where my training sessions were conducted. This hotel by mariott overall is good,well maintained but as far as dining options are concerned, there are only a couple of fast food chains around the hotel. The room interior seems dated but very clean. Staff was helpful. Some of the rooms facing the freeway have noise issues as per reviews. So makes sense to avoid such rooms. Overall had a good night sleep. Would recommend anyone who wants to stay for a short haul.

Don’t bother

Hotel was old and not updated at all. Had to yell for the front desk person to check in after standing and waiting there for 10 minutes. View of the dumpster out back with trash all around. Walls were paper thin and heard the people next door talking early in the morning. Sounded like they were standing right in our room. Hotel was right next to 2 gas stations with a lot of semi trucks parked there overnight. Cant believe we paid $250 a night for this dump.

I reserved two rooms through Hotels.com, but upon arrival at the hotel, I was told there was only one reservation. I showed the desk clerk my confirmation for two rooms, but she was dismissive and unhelpful, refusing to contact Hotels.com to verify the issue. I had to pay for an additional room out of pocket and was later charged for three rooms total, even though we only used two. After investigating the situation, I learned that both rooms were indeed reserved under my name, but one was listed under my father-in-law’s name as the occupant—standard procedure when booking multiple rooms. These should have been linked under the same folio in the hotel’s system, but the front desk staff showed no willingness to assist or resolve the confusion. When Hotels.com reached out to the hotel to request a refund, the hotel refused. To make matters worse, during checkout, I witnessed the same front desk clerk offering equally poor service to another guest who had concerns about bed bugs. Overall, the lack of professionalism and customer service was extremely disappointing. I would appreciate a refund for the unused room and hope the hotel takes steps to improve staff training and communication.
