We recently enjoyed our third stay at the Hampton Inn Key West, and overall, it was a pleasant experience, though there were some notable changes this time around.
Firstly, the location continues to be a highlight. Shuttle bus allows easy access to local attractions, restaurants, and the beautiful beaches that the area is known for. The staff, as always, were friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.
One significant change to note is the hotel’s new policy regarding service charges. The removal of the hotel service charge is a welcome adjustment, yet this has been offset by the introduction of a daily parking fee. While we understand the need to maintain the property and facilities, the additional cost for parking was a bit of a surprise and added to our overall expenses during the stay.
Another change that affected our experience was the elimination of the complimentary drinks. In previous visits, these drinks not only provided a nice touch of hospitality but also helped to mask the noise from planes passing overhead. Without them, the noise felt a bit more intrusive than in our past stays, which detracted slightly from the otherwise relaxing atmosphere.
Despite these changes, we still enjoyed our time at the Hampton Inn. The comfortable accommodations, friendly staff, and prime location continue to make it a great choice for visitors to Key West.
