The property is retro . Super outdated. Don’t hope for amenities there are NONE. The party is fun. But the problem is... it never stops. The music I don’t think stops until about 5am. You will absolutely not be able to sleep. Food is lackluster and drinks are over priced. The manager is none existent and the employees refuse to call her for additional assistance. Never again will I stay. Best to drop by for a pregame. Not family friendly.

Loved the atmosphere, great for a fun getaway with dancing and having a good time

Overall great stay. Cannot say enough about the amazing service at this hotel. Joel at the front desk helped us on several occasions. Super professional and super sweet. He honestly made out stay that much greater. Management should definitely recognize him for this! The rooms are clean and bright. Showers and toiletries are luxurious. The full beds were comfortable, but could be larger for two people. We enjoyed tanning on the sun deck at the Clevelander. We also enjoyed the pools at their sister property The Stiles. There were AMAZING drinks at the bar downstairs. They also offered a free continental buffet in the morning for breakfast. The staff all over the property were really great. The location is directly across from the beach. There are several places to eat or visit in the surrounding neighborhood. Only con: if you like quiet at night, book a room that doesn’t face the pool. This hotel is known for their nightly “club” by the bar/pool, which includes a DJ and/or live performances. We were able to sleep through it, but some people are more sensitive to sound. Maybe you’ll be down there enjoying it! 😬

The staff was extremely rude except Marcelo. My neighbor threatened to assault me, and Marcelo the manager and the security helped so much. Bernardo and Nancy were wonderful housekeepers and extremely kind.

Checking in the woman at the front desk was extremely rude! Acted as though we were bothering her. We paid extra for the “rock star suite” and the curtains were falling off the rods, noise in the hallway was unbearable and the air conditioner wouldn’t work. I don’t know what rock star would ever want to stay at this place! Only person that was helpful was the door man but even he wanted to make sure we knew he took tips! Oh and someone used our credit card in Tampa and the only place we used it during our trip was at the Clevelander hotel. Beware someone is selling your credit card numbers!

The hotel can't print anything for you eg boarding pass. There was a shooting opposite the hotel one night and, 75 minutes after the incident, the bouncer at the bar refused guests entry to get to the reception area and elevators to rooms for no apparent reason other than being a dickhead. I wrote to the hotel regarding this and didn't have the courtesy of a response! The security people in general were very unfriendly and couldn't be bothered to respond to a good evening or good afternoon from me.

We did not do enough research. The hotel is THE spot for music and dancing all night long. If you are in South beach for that THIS is the place. The hotel food is average and the service staff is the same regardless of what interaction food, bar, counter but the bellman Kevin makes up for everyone that guy is awesome! He makes the whole place better.

You have to request cleaning, afterwards we found a bottle of tea in the bed (no linens were actually changed), sand on the floor... hardly anything cleaned at all
