Watch your bill they overcharged us
Stayed here one night for a comedy show nearby. Staff at check in were nice, room was not bad just very dated. They offer free shuttle service, nice driver, however they are unable to drop you off close to venues and for pick up I was told to hike about 6 blocks to a location for pick up. We decided to just walk back the 14 minutes cause we saw no way they would find us on a corner. The worst part of the hotel was the restaurant. We tried twice, worst service and we are not picky people. Tried before our show, we were seated, 15 minutes to be told it would take too long. There were maybe 15 people total in there so not crowded. Service after was even worse. Finally greeted by waitress asked for a minute to quickly choose a beer…. She proceeded to serve 2 other tables finally came back after being ignored and only cause we were starving did we get a burger to go, didn’t even want the beer anymore. They were absolutely rude in there and again not packed either time for such poor service. $24 burger was ok, we split it in our room. If you use the “ grab and go” snack area you have to wait in line to pay behind all the check ins. Finally watch your bill…..They tried to charge my CC $210 and we had prepaid everything. I called down before check out and they did remove it without much reason other than “oops”.

Great location but desperately needs updating.
This hotel is in dire need of updating. It’s a shame that it’s so run down because the location and friendly shuttle service to and from nearby restaurants is awesome. The front desk was understaffed- it took multiple attempts to reach anyone. The coffee maker in the room was broken. The TV channel guide was wrong.

3-night stay
AC vent blows air right on your face when laying down on bed… no way to move the vent for air to move upward. So we were either very cold at night or hot (bc it was too cold to have it on… even when you change the temp). We didn’t have hot water during 2 showers on our last night. Keurig machine allows you to put 14 oz of water in it but you only have 8 oz cups… there’s no option from the machine to make 8 oz cup of coffee. So if you accidentally put 14 oz of water in the machine, you got to make sure you watch the machine and put in a 2nd cup once the first one fills up… otherwise you have a big mess! Checkin lady was not welcoming. Wished there was complimentary hot breakfast. And wished that parking was free. I was charged $35 for my 3-night stay.

Lovely little stay
We had a wonderful time at The Barrymore. The staff was so kind throughout our stay. The lobby was beautifully decorated for the holidays and very welcoming. Our room was quant but appropriate for the price and location- though no bathtub, only a shower which bums me out personally. The on-site bar/restaurant was AMAZING. The wait is longer in the morning but staff does their very best. Drinks were impeccable- shout out to bartender Megan for her delivery of a delicious off the cuff cocktail for me. 10/10 would recommend.

NO HOT WATER FOR 45 MINUTES
The room and bathroom was clean. If want hot water to take a shower in the morning turn it on at least 45 minutes prior to attempting to get in the shower, don’t bother calling the front desk desk because you will get get attitude like you don’t know how to turn the water on in the shower.

Our 2nd stay here. Pretty hotel. Great location to the arena and not far at all from the major highway. So you park your car for a nominal daily fee and walk to areas of interest. Clean hotel and friendly staff.

Great stay
We were in town for the hockey game. We got into town earlier than expected and they were very accommodating about letting us check in early. The shuttle guy was nice and very helpful. Great stay overall, will definitely be staying there again.

Clean and over all comfortable
Checkin was very quick and easy. Room was nicely appointed. Clean room with new sheets, towels, and furnishings. Bed was a little too soft for my liking and pillows were a little stiff but other than that the room was very nice and comfortable.
