Homey and Warm Charlevoix Inn

We had a very nice stay. The house is quite clean, although old. We specially appreciated the thoughtfulness's and friendliness of the Innkeeper, Stefan. He makes all feel welcome and he’s a good cook! The location is great. We walked to everything in town. If you like homey, warm and convenient, this is the place for you.

Lovely, comfortable inn

Stefan fixed a wonderful breakfast for us after our one night stay. He provided directions to the beach and nearby restaurants. Probably the only issue wasn't with the accommodations, but with our timing staying in this tiny town. Many of the restaurants were closed on our Wednesday stay, so our options were more limited than they would have been on the weekend.

Very nice stay

The bed and breakfast was very nice. Breakfast is wonderful and the inn keeper was kind and helpful. The home is neat and clean. Bed was comfortable. Close to town and walking is easy for getting downtown.

Wonderful House, Great Location

I throughly enjoyed my stay at the Charlevoix House! Perfect location that is close to anything you would need or want to do! Steffan is very attentive and a wonderful host! Would definitely recommend staying here!

This was such a great experience. We loved the character and comfort of the house plus it was a quick walk to everything. Steffan the innkeeper was the best part. He was so welcoming and accommodating, full of information, and a great chef (making us a beautiful breakfast spread). He obviously cares about this place and it shows!! He made it 10/10!

So cozy and charming! Steffan was an AMAZING host! His homemade breakfast was incredibly and so delicious! He went above and beyond for his guests! A must stay place! We will be back!

Awesome Stay!

Absolutely amazing time! The bed & pillow were so comfortable it felt like sleeping on a cloud. Homemade breakfast prepared by innkeeper was amazing & delicious. This B&B is only two blocks from walkable downtown Charlevoix. Many awesome shops & restaurants, ferry & nearby park. Nearby lighthouse & wonderful beach. We took an evening walk in the neighborhood by the B&B & every house had a beautiful front porch like the B&B. On our walk we found the old Charlevoix train station. The porch on the B&B had comfortable seating & even when it rained we were under cover so we were able to spend time visiting other guests out on the porch as well as in the dining room for the breakfast. Our room had very comfortable chairs & the fun part was a vintage bathtub (in addition to a separate modern shower). We will definitely stay at Charlevoix House again!

We mostly enjoyed our stay. It was clean and comfortable, and very reasonably priced. Breakfast was delicious. The host was very friendly and helpful. My only complaints would be that there there are separate faucets for hot and cold water in the bathroom sink. Why in this day & age?? Also, they were really too small. The water barely made it into the sink bowl. It's was an inconvenience.

We liked that it is a big old house within waking distance of town and Lake Michigan beach. The living room is a welcoming, comfortable place to visit. Steffan was a very gracious inn keeper and cooked a fantastic breakfast.

We needed to stay in Charlevoix for a Wedding.... This spot was a couple blocks from the center of town. Clean, Convenient, Quaint Old B&B.... Just what I imagined it was going to be. And the caretaker.. Steffan.... Took excellent care of us. The Rooms were spacious.. The furniture comfortable... and the Breakfast was delicious. We recommend and will stay again in the near future!

Property was well kept and quaint. Host was amazing, and so were his culinary skills! The breakfast was scrumptious. The bed was a little too soft for our liking, but the room was spacious, quiet and had a great view. Will stay here again.
