I arrived shortly after 1 a.m. after 13+ hours of travel to find the front desk completely unattended. I waited alone in the lobby for over 90 minutes with no staff, no access to my prepaid room, and no security. The alarm panel was beeping with a flashing trouble symbol, and I walked the hotel calling out “Hello?” multiple times. I even recorded video to show it was vacant.
There was a handwritten Post-it with my name, confirming they knew I’d arrive late. I had also called earlier to inform them my flight was delayed and was assured check-in after midnight was fine.
While I was on the phone with customer support trying to find another hotel, they called the front desk, and I answered since no one else was there. Well sometime after that, the front desk attendant finally returned.
Instead of apologizing, he was rude, aggressive, and intentionally intimidating. He said I had an “attitude” and even told me to “just go” because he didn’t like how I handed him my ID. He said I was “late for check-in” and he “didn’t have to give me a room,” despite knowing I was coming.
Other staff had been great, but this experience was unprofessional, disrespectful, and unsafe. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.
