Our stay was perfect. We had the easiest and most efficient check in and check out. Great room. Very comfortable. We loved the high quality linen, bath towels and the softest, highest quality toilet paper. A rare find in any place.

Small, but very comfortable. It suited our needs perfectly, there to explore the outdoors in the area. We brought our own groceries in and would recommend this. Especially during the off-season right now, bars and restaurants are spotty at best. We enjoyed an evening of whiskey-drinking at the International but the restaurants in town were closed during our stay.

Expectations pretty low for Austin NV and this place exceeded them. Bummed the Toiyabe Cafe was closed, but Middle gate _only_ 64 miles away. We spent four days looking for rocls and it was super nice to have a central location to spoke out from.

Austin is an off road paradise
Great place to stage and explore the surrounding area. Close to the convenience store and the rest of downtown. Thankful for trailer parking across the street.

This is a small motel, but clean and friendly. A great place to stop if you enjoy ghost-towns and a nearby view. We've stayed here twice for the convenience. Be sure to check out dining options before arriving. There was only one restaurant open and it turned out to be good. The bar that was open didn't serve any food.

This is a unique isolated old town in a low population area. The room was small, but clean with comfortable bed. Does have microwave, mini fridge, and TV. Great area for star gazing.

We stayed on a Tuesday evening after an over 500mi drive. Austin, NV is remote, so keep that in mind if/when you should need to eat. We read glowing reviews of "Grandma's" restaurant and were looking forward to eating there (1 of 2 restaurants in town), but unfortunately both were closed, as we hadn't called prior to arrival. We had to settle for frozen mac 'n cheese dinners from the gas station, and eaten on our twin beds. That said, the rooms were quiet, despite Hwy 50 running adjacent to the property; the beds were very comfortable, linens were clean and soft, premium channels on the TV, and great K-cup coffee in the tiny motel office. Austin, NV has incredible buildings and everything is within walking distance from the property, including both restaurants. We'd stay here again. Note: check-in office is NOT staffed, so you'll call to announce your arrival and grab the appropriate room key. Checkout was a breeze. Resident kitty appreciated the brushing outside.
