Drove 5 hrs and no room with reservations!

Poor poor management. I booked this place 3 weeks ago. I drove 5 hours and my kids are tired. I get there and the room was canceled. Not one person called me. Management didn’t call anyone that had a room. Everyone was sent away. How crappy is that on a holiday weekend in a town with only two motels. Will never book here again and this was my first time booking here.

Disappointed

Made the reservation but they didn't have my room as it was uncleaned. Front desk person was nice but, clearly over their head. I'm now required to work to get my payment back after a long trip.

We had to dodge dog poop to walk to our room then the heat wasn’t working in the room and the heater vent are was melted and looked like it would start a fire if on. The beds weren’t made or clean, there was hair on them and they were stained yellow. We had to cancel our reservation and find the second and only other option in the city to stay at. The worker said she had another room but it would be more money for it and acted like we couldn’t afford it.

We had a 2 queen bed room, it was like a suite with a bedroom, the space was very generous with a kitchenette that has a stove, sink, pots and eating utensils. Quartz Countertop looks new, we saw a stain on the bedsheet, they provide makeup remover but no shampoo, so always bring your own soap and shampoo if you are the sensitive type but overall pretty clean.

Stay Away

The place is run down and filthy. Dog pooh caked on the floor. Door lock didn't function properly. For all the coming and going in the next room I'm guessing trade in contraband. Pity, since there was a screaming toddler in the room. I left and went to another Motel. Avoid this place at all costs.

A very convenient stopover for eastern WA travel. Good breakfast offerings. Wide variety of room options, from small to spacious. Quirky but Affordable. Older rooms do not offer convenient device plug in, but one can make it work. A practical choice.

Don't Stay in Rooms 228 or 229!

When we arrived, we were first given an isolated room in the back of the motel on the 2nd floor overlooking what appeared to be a small junkyard. The curtains were too short for the window, the room was in general neglect, and most importantly, the heater, whose grate was encased with at least a few years of lint, didn't work. Rm. 229. When we requested a different room, the manager gave us a suite in a different building that was nicely maintained and clean, at no additional cost. He was working with a skeleton crew which appeared to consist of just himself, so it was understandable that he was reluctant to leave the desk to get us a box of kleenex or some hand soap. Breakfast was from 7-9. We arrived at 8:30 to find very little left to choose from, and no one there to assist with making sure there was adequate food until 9:00. Don't know why we were first given, what I hope, was the worst room in the motel, when there appeared to be an abundance of vacancies, but we don't blame the manager for the lack of service. It's the lazy staff who apparently bailed on an off-season weekend.

This is our third or fourth stay here. Check in for our 3 night stay was fine. Room in nice condition, but two deficiencies: 1) Security latch was broken off and did not work. 2) Deadbolt difficult to work. Called and asked for 2 extra pillows in the morning. Never delivered by nightfall,had to call again. Be aware of the breakfast hours; they have been shortened. Also, they were out of sausage with 20 minutes left before the end of breakfast. Grocery store across the street and a short walk to downtown. Near the Observatory. Overall, a decent stay but we may try another property for our next stay.

Clean enough, good breakfast, avoid room 317

The hotel was clean enough. It’s better than some at that price. The problem was that the heat didn’t work in our first room-no problem, we were quickly switched to an upgraded suite. Unfortunately, it was next to the breakfast room. At midnight or so there was very loud banging and noise as workers prepared for the next day’s breakfast. This probably lasted 40 min, the resumed again at 5:30 am. Very-thin walls, apparently. Just don’t get room 317 unless you don’t plan to sleep. Btw-the breakfast was much better than expected.
