Check in was a mess but other than that, it was a nice stay. There was a mango tree that kept dropping mangoes. We were allowed to eat all we wanted. That was an especially nice perk of staying there.

Nice location on Key West, but did not deliver for the price. Advertised as a bed and breakfast but only provided packaged snacks and some citrus. Shared pool is very small and not cleaned.

The property was off the beaten path, but with easy access to the beach, and walkable to all the interesting sites and experiences of Key West. Nice, private spaces to enjoy your morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. Oh, and the delicious Florida oranges were great too!

In a great location, close to beach, walking distance to Duval St, but Only problem we had was the floors not properly washed. My daughter’s white socks were black after walking those floors and white hand towels are almost gray color, wonder if they bleach them. Shower head is like a mist, if I were owner, I’d replace. And I would say it’s time to repaint the place. Too many stains on walls and doorways. I’m just a bit of a germaphobe. But overall stay was good.

The Air-conditioning was not working, and the landlord didnt have any other rooms. They knew the AC was broken and did'nt try to fix before we arrived, or call to notify us. VERY POOR! They blamed others for the problem, like it wasnt their responsibility. When i told them we were searching for other accommodations they said they could get box fans or try to find someone to fix it if the part was available. We found another place (much smaller and more expensive) to stay, and then they said there son could fix it. We left as fast as we could Bad thing is because we paid through venmo ww probably will not get a refund. Expedia did not help to solve our issues and im very disappointed in that experience as well

Our stay at Suite Dreams was a pleasant experience. The bed was comfortable, air conditioning on point, and property was quiet. We felt the place was ours exclusively even though other patrons were there. We enjoyed having use of beach chairs, noodles, and towels. The hammock chairs were a nice way to relax in the evening. The owner was available and responsive to our questions and requests. We felt there were some things that could be improved upon like the linen and towels could be updated. The room was a bit smaller than we expected and it felt damp. One evening we wanted to stay in and watch tv but the picture quality was bad so we turned it off. I would have preferred to be able to open windows but there weren’t screens to keep bugs out. Overall though we enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

Suite Dreams Inn

I stayed in the Duval Suite which is the room with the box window a/c. It was fine and didn’t bother me. I liked that I had my own front porch to hang out on. The pool was a dip pool. I didn’t use it but it was clean and looked nice. The place was super clean and the owner was very friendly. They provide some snacks for the room and they have set up a make shift bar with all the leftover booze from previous guests. Free parking is a definite plus. I’d stay here again.

Beware! Double booked! Found out a week before...

We booked hotel room for July 4th weekend on March 13th. We called the hotel a week before our stay to ask for early check in since we were traveling with a 3 year old and a 1 year old. Mark could not find our reservation which was confirmed and paid in full since March. We come to find out that we were double booked. They gave our room to someone who booked in April (a month after we booked and paid in full). That person booked for 4 nights versus us that booked for 2 nights. Terrible! We had to call Hotels.com to try to sort things out. It was a holiday weekend and as Floridians, we knew it would be nearly impossible to get a room last minute. Mark ended up getting us a room at another hotel. However, he was dishonest. He never took responsibility for double booking us. It was also very shady that we were bumped when a better reservation came along. We travel a lot and we will never book with Suite Dreams Inn after this experience. As avid world travelers, we have never experienced such horrible customer service. All I could do was pictured us arriving at the hotel with 2 babies under 3 only to find out we had no room. Praise God I called a week before to ask for early check in. Unacceptable!
