Sister's getaway!

We had an amazing stay at the Hawks House Inn. My sisters loved the roomy size bedrooms and the convenience of only four miles to the Town of Damariscotta where we went shopping and dined. Steve the owner was on site and delivered on all of our requests from ice to a phone charger. He was very pleasant and personable. The grounds at the Hawks House Inn were laid out with flower gardens and places for you to sit and enjoy nature. A beautiful setting for all!

Maine get away

Staying at Hawks House Inn is similar to staying in a spacious old-fashioned home. The rooms are well appointed. Shared baths are clean. The kitchen and spacious dining area are inviting. It was nice to be able to use the refrigerator for our food. Fresh baked banana bread was a plus in the morning. It is also very convenient to Pemaquid Point Lighthouse and Shaw's Wharf where you may take the ferry to Monhegan Island.

Charming and Cute

Charming and cute bed and breakfast. I was relieved to find a place which would let me stay one night since I was taking the ferry the next day. This is a beautiful place, filled with interesting and charming antiques. There are many helpful aspects such as a refrigerator the guests can use, a sink and simple breakfast. Close to all the nice things on Pemaquid.

Steve is very warm and friendly. Morning conversation with other guests over banana bread and coffee was delightful. Unfortunately during our visit heavy rain prevented us from walking the grounds but looking out the window we thought we must come back on a Sunday day and enjoy the garden and fire pit.

We very much enjoyed our (too brief) stay at this quaint, quirky, and comfortable inn. Steve, the host, was welcoming and makes yummy banana bread. The gardens in the back made a wonderful spot for stargazing.

A lovingly tended property with a beautiful garden, comfortable screened porch and attentive host. Hawks House was perfect for our two day visit at Audubon Hog Island for scientific meetings. Tasty morning coffee and a wide variety of teas. Central fridge in dining area well organized. Close to Damariscotta for dining options, close enough to Bremen. Special note: Steve has provided USB ports in all the bedrooms, an attractive feature for an old structure! Truth in reviewing: close to road, but we did not find it a bother.

Lovely Stay

Amazing inn- super clean, super comfortable (with good shower pressure), easy check-in/check-out, fantastic location (so close to New Harbor and great little towns), and super friendly staff (Steve!). Wish I had stayed longer!!

Best stay ever! Just perfect in every way.

Steve was the most amazing host we've met in our 40 plus years of travel! Even though we arrived after hours he made a Point to show up and greet us upon arrival. The Inn is very beautiful, each and every room. The screened in porch was very inviting and the banana bread, fresh coffee and specialty teas were amazing. I wish we could have stayed longer. Our room was super comfortable and lovely. We've never had a more pleasant stay. I would give this Inn a 20 Star review if I could. Look no further than this beautiful Inn for the perfect stay.
