Great comfortable overnight

I did not spend much time there, but what time I was there was very nice and comfortable. Check in was a breeze, beds were comfortable, shower was hot and the room was very clean. My only complaints were I could not get the shower head to be more direct instead of a spray pattern and the breakfast was very basic continental. Regardless I would still give it a 5/5.

No gloves in the kitchen?

We booked this hotel for the pool facility. We didn’t know until after we checked in that the pool was closed for renovation! Also, while eating the complimentary breakfast, I overheard a member of the kitchen staff ask their kitchen manager why he had not put the fresh fruit out for the hotel guests. The employee said she knew guests liked the fresh fruit. The manager said he was told it was okay to serve the older fruit instead. Soon after that, the manager came out among the guests and proceeded to pet someone’s service dog WITH HIS BARE HANDS! Another hotel guest and I looked at each other and asked me, “Did you just see that?” We chose to not eat at the hotel the following morning. For the price we paid for this hotel, we felt it was very overpriced based on our experience. We will not stay at this hotel again.
