Stay away

Stay away. Bargain pricing should have told us something right from the start. Was to spend 2 days biking the PA Grand Canyon but left a day early because lodge was pretty disgusting. The public areas and stairwells are littered with cigarette butts and are truly filthy. A used coffee cup, 1/2 filled with old coffee and cigarette butts, sat on the stairs for the 24 hours we stayed. A power wash might take care of it but I don’t believe there’s anybody there who could do it. The staff all sit around in the lobby/breakfast area and talk to each other most of the day…felt like we were intruding. The rooms were just beaten to death…not dirty but a bathroom door that wouldn’t close properly, old carpeting, paint scratched off of the trim and an overall damness. Breakfast was decent with a toasted bagel, cereal and pre-made cheese omelettes. The indoor pool was obviously the huge draw for families with young children.

Nice place to stay.

The first time I stayed the room was fantastic 2 queen beds, the second time I stayed ( I chose 2 double beds) the room was not as nice. No refrigerator or microwave in the room and the bathroom was not as spacious. The breakfast could use an upgrade. I was happy enough though that I came back a second time. Love the pool and jacuzzi and the bigger rooms. Hotel staff are very nice.

Room was comfortable and clean. Improvements would be better pillows and also lights outside of the street level room,which we had, were not on after dark. .safety issue. Breakfast was very good. Would definitely stay again

Advertises elevator when there isn’t one I am older and booked a room for 4 days Carrying bags up and down two flights of steps was awful Ended up falling down steps and fracturing my wrist Had two employees speak to me in 4 days. Will choose another hotel next time

We booked this to use the pool and restaurant. Be careful when booking the lodge vs the hotel. The pool was only open from 8-8 and we arrived At 815. The bed was not so good, sagging . Breakfast was just ok, limited items. Staff was ok. Place could use some upgrades. Better than camping. Location was convenient.
