This is not a Boutique Business hotel as a Westerner would understand it. It's a "Business Themed" hotel and is more like a sex/love hotel. The showers in the room have clear glass walls that you can see from any vantage point in the room. I also had booked a more expensive business suite with 2 twin rooms. When I arrived they didn't have it so I had to take a downgrade but still paid the premium price.
The staff speak very little English so communications can be a challenge. The rooms are stocked with various sex lubes and condoms so there you go. We were on a family trip so that was a bit awkward. The design is fun, and the staff were generally pleasant and tried to help so nothing against them at all. Rooms were clean. There is a nice hotel bar and cafe, however, it's only for show as I don't think they have a license to serve alcohol. We were never allowed to have drinks in the bar, but if you want to sit there quietly go ahead. It's a great location in Sanlitun, but just splurge and stay at the Intercontinental next door. If you're looking for a hotel to have a one night stand, then this is fine.
