You have to pay an extra $20 for parking a night. I checked in on a Saturday about 7pm. (Last minute trip) After a 3 hour drive. We were told there was no parking, but still continued to book rooms. So we had to park about 3 blocks away, in a unattended parking area. If I could have canceled my rooms right there, I would have. I used to stay here every time I come to Wildwood. 3 times in about a month mind you. I won't be coming back here again

Parking not included

WARNING for families…when you book and pay for a room at this hotel, a parking space is not included. We were put on a waitlist for parking despite booking 4 months in advance, and were told when a spot did become available we would also have to pay for that convenience. So, carve out another $150 for parking at 23rd and the beach because of this. I was confused about this money grab, because this is not a new construction. I stayed here in the 80s when it was the Kings Inn. I ended up having to park by the bay and check in took over 2 hours, after driving 2 hours with our three kids. I thought booking on the boardwalk would make our lives easier and it was a nightmare on Memorial Day weekend. WARNING for families…also at check in, we were told that a security deposit was going to be put on our card as a hold for a few hundred. Had this happen to me in Vegas, NYC, etc. Never in WW as an old hag married couple. Second sticker shock at this place. Despite the name, there are no chairs outside the rooms so that one could sit and view the ocean. I gave one star because: I was given an extra hour at check out because I had to walk a mile to get my car. Rooms were updated by WW standards, no dressers though. Dog friendly and not just for chihuahuas and those toy doodles. We were neighbors with a standard Poodle and a St. Bernard, which was awesome.

Still has a way to go

The hotel looks like it's just been redone but it still has a lot to do. For starters, there was literally one plug in the bedroom to plug in phones and accessories. There was no holder for the toilet paper in the bathroom. With Wildwood, you're going to get thin walls, but we were able to hear our neighbors partying until 3:00 a.m. both nights. Made for a tough night sleep.

Super nice!

Only inconveniences, no elevator and $20 per day for parking unless you find a spot at the street, also pool was small but cute and clean. Besides that, super nice, super clean and comfortable and right at the boardwalk! Loved the rooftop and view from it. So relaxing! Mini fridge and microwave in the room, no coffee maker though but DD right next to it. Also best spanish food and great service at the Papelon Restaurant, also steps away! Just book it!

Adorable with fabulous A/C AND ceiling fan

The theme was cute, great A/C, comfy beds, clean space, TEENY bathroom, but great sized room (we had the two fulls and a hide-a-bed). No coffee, no juice or breakfast. Fine for me. Husband-not so much. LOTS of stairs. No elevator we saw. Pain getting suitcases upstairs. Never had been to Jersey Shore, but had fun, even in the of season when it was cold/breezy/sprinkling. Were meeting extended family who had the King Size bed in apparently a TINY room, but didn't see it personally. So keepers were super friendly on the boardwalk and we got to walk a few miles to work off our trip goodies. As recommended, also stopped for a Taylor Pork Roll and Douglass taffy. Yum! Owens pub for lunch- Great Daily specials. A surprise goody bag was a delight at checkin, parking was WEIRD. Whole bottom level of hotel is parking slots - only 4 taken. Had to display parking board on dash and pay $20 fee. This was expected but frustrating. Would stay again. Hopefully when Glow-in-the-dark mini golf is open!

Sharing Wildwood with my sister from Iowa

It was incredible! We also went on a whale watch! Had so much fun on the beach! It was very friendly! Would recommend the Cabana as a go to place!

Needs updating and a good cleaning

Needs major work. Everything is dirty and falling apart. I don’t believe the room has been truly cleaned in years. Tons of water damage on the walls and things were spongy but they just painted over them. Parking is assigned and very small but still expensive.

Nice little hotel

Nice little hotel. The rooms have been renovated. Great location. I encountered only two issues. First, parking is a pain. The spots are small and too close together. Second, the bathroom was too small and uncomfortable. The toilet seat was 2 inches from the sink. Avoid room 124 if you are not petite.

Needs much improvement

The checkin process was good, but all downhill after that. There is no handicap parking and we requested an accessible room and the room was far from what we expected. We probably would not have complained if not for the narrow bathroom and you had to leave the shower door open to sit on the toilet. Actually had to walk sideways to get to the toilet. The front door had a huge gap at the bottom and you could actually see the outside. When we called the front desk a worker came and looked, shrugged and left. We stuffed a bath towel there. We also spotted 2 roaches. One outside and one in the room before we left. If not for having to catch the ferry, we would have left much sooner. Charged $20 per day to park too. Will not return.

I reserved a room with two queen beds they were only doubles. My 12 year old daughter’s feet hung off the bed. No blankets in the room or on the beds; just a top sheet and a thin cover the thickness of a sheet. We froze all night. The bathroom is so small the door wouldn’t open all the way. Room was very clean.
