Travelling with my two teenage children and booked 3 nights at Sapa Vista hotel through expedia. We booked a delux family room with a double bed, a single bed, with a beatiful mountain view balcony room.
HOWEVER when we checked in, the hotel staff gave us a room with a queen bed, and told us they going to bring a single mattress for us! Straight away I said to them this was not the room I booked. they then took me to a room on level 3... and yes there were 2 beds but outside, instead of a glorious mountain view, we got an ugly view of a big power poles with power lines!!! I was very frustrated by then! So I talked to the supervisor..... At the end, they finally gave us the exact room we booked, a spacious family room with 2 beds and beautiful view on level 5.
Overall we enjoyed our stay in sapa, vista hotel have good view of the mountains from rooms on level 5 to 7.... however not happy with checking in and the room issues. Hotel staffs need to make sure their guests get the right room they booked.
