For what we paid the room was awkward…. With the sink by the bed and the shower not I’m an enclosed room …there were cracks in t by e ceiling and cobwebs in the community space… the breakfast was very disappointing… no bacon or sausage or butter for the waffles …. We were in NH definitely expected bacon and maple syrup for breakfast …. It was more a continental breakfast:(

Awful place to stay.
This place is going to be changing hands in 2 weeks, and you could tell the owner only wanted to fill the rooms. Terrible breakfast, spider webs everywhere, and NO tv. But he doesn’t post that so you know. The room we stayed in was very small. The shower is in the room with you, not very big either. We felt like he was watching every move you made. Wasted our money!

I especially liked the beautiful scenery in the mountains on the border of New Hampshire and Vermont. The host was pleasant and the breakfast tasty. It was a half hour drive to and from our affair in Vermont twice a day for 3 days 😟. Otherwise, the B & B was very pleasant!

The exterior was in good condition. However, the interior needed to be vacuumed and cleaned more often. Our room was down stairs and it was down a very dirty staircase which was in a sore need of new carpet. The floor was cement and needed new paint. Place needs a good overhaul. Owners were pleasant enough.

This B&B was disappointing. We had a room in the basement that smelled musty when we entered. The dehumidifier was needed. The AC unit was vintage, sounding a little like a Mac truck idling outside your window. It was awkward having the shower/tub in the same room as the beds. It's one thing to have a sink in the room, but no privacy getting into the shower is, well, not right. Certainly not what you'd expect at this price range, $170 per night. That's too much for what is essentially a motel room. The sink stopper didn't work, and we were told not to use the door to the outside deck because the handle would fall off. Again, charge us motel rates and it's fine. At 170 per night it's unacceptable. On the plus side, the breakfast was very good, the French toast croissants were delicious. You can walk down to the river and fish off the dock, where there are lots of bass around.

B&B was set apart with easy access to CT River, spacious outdoor space, and clean room. Internet was slow and cable TV at this time. Road leading to property was peaceful, but needs pothole repair. Charming B&B!

The inn was very unimpressive, bath facilities were scattered around the room offering no privacy, and the breakfast was a paper bag of odd cold items. The grounds and buildings were also poorly maintained. Price was far greater than what it should have been. Would not recommend it!
