I enjoyed my stay in this apartment. The price is good and you will be helped with whatever you need. I will recommend you USE WHATSAPP to communicate if the owner and she will do her best to help you. The local supermarket is very economical due to the pricing being for the locals and it’s literally a 8 minute walk to beach or tourist plaza.

This is a hidden gem, IF you’re a frequent international traveler and prefer to stay in an airb&b style place and not the Hilton. My room (Room 1) was beautiful and exactly like the photos. Very clean, great bed and shower, beautifully decorated. The property is NOT a resort in the classic sense. Some of the photos are from a previous hotel of the same name in a different location. There isn’t a restaurant or lobby or bar, there is a clean and lovely pool but it’s not the one in the photos. But if you’re a city person and there to go on excursions and check out the beaches and still have a wonderful suite to go back to, this place is ideal. Price is unbelievable for the space. It’s only a 10 min walk to downtown where you can grab a cab to the beaches, or go to restaurants and shopping. I would absolutely stay again

It is gated but the communication is awful, no room service or food, pool only looks good at night. Only plus was that it’s a 10 minute walk from the action and the airport and you could step out and hail a taxi.

I want my money back I was unable to stay on that place. Expectation: In accordance with the pictures included on the Expedia website, the Hotel Perle D'or City Apartments is a comfortable, clean, and adequate place to stay. Additionally, I would like to mention that we were two persons, and according to the cleaner, due to restructuring, it was difficult to provide clean towels for more than one person on that day. I am writing to formally request a refund for my reservation at the Hotel Perle D'or City Apartments from June 6, 2025, to June 9, 2025. Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was far from satisfactory, and I believe a refund is warranted due to the following issues: Misrepresentation: The hotel is listed on the Expedia website, but the images uploaded do not accurately reflect the current condition of the property. The hotel is in poor condition and urgently needs renovation. According to the manager, it will be closing at the end of the month due to the inability to sustain operations in such bad conditions. The hotel was not clean, and there were numerous items cluttering the space, with several areas broken or in disrepair. Health Concerns: I suffer from asthma, which includes inflammation of the airways. Given my condition, it is extremely difficult for me to stay in a place that is filthy and not well-maintained. During my short visit, I became ill and experienced significant difficulty breathing. Still sick at writing this feedback

This hotel was not the same as the pictures online when I arrived it was different no where near the pictures which was what I was expecting to see, I booked a room for june 12 to june 16 2024. I left the hotel june 14 because the electricity went out in the whole building causing there to be no air conditioning and no one was inside working (no recepción) I want a refund for the last two nights in which I didn't stay.

The place is nice and clean. Our room was on the second floor was very aesthetically pleasing. Lots of power outlets in the room, which is great. The housekeeping lady is wonderful at maintaining the property. We got fresh towels everyday. The water pressure in the shower is great, and the pool on the property was nice and clean as well, which we appreciate. The area could’ve been a little quieter, the internet at the hotel itself was really spotty and weak, and the place was listed as “breakfast available” with a fee, but that wasn’t the case when we arrived. The listing on Expedia even had photos of breakfast. But overall it was a great experience, place in a very convenient location close to city, restaurants and beaches
