Wonderful Old Town Location!

We had a wonderful stay. The service and location are both excellent. We hope to be back again someday. I also want to thank you for your help before our arrival regarding parking our vehicle. Parking just outside the historical walking district was complicated for us, and your guidance made things much easier by directing us to the nearest free parking.

A warm and welcoming local hotel. Very spacious rooms and authentically charming. The opposite of a corporate hotel. Located in the heart of the old town. Important note; there is no parking near any hotel in the old town. Street parking is a 15 minute walk

La mejor estancia en Creta

Estuvimos en el apartamento que está apartado, en la calle de atrás, y era muy bonito, estaba muy limpio y con muchísimos detalles (fruta, agua, café, leche,…). Lo peor es el ruido del piso de arriba, pero todo lo demás compensa. Eleutheria es maravillosa, cuando llegamos nos dio todo tipo de indicaciones, se nota el cariño que le pone a su trabajo y al hotel en cada detalle. Totalmente recomendable.

Amazing staff, location and room

Historic palazzo

The Venetian history of the building is incredible. The room was comfortable and beautifully decorated. Location is perfect for exploring Chania. The advice of our host for things to do and see never missed the mark. The only negative was car parking. You can’t drive in old town and there is limited parking nearby. Be prepared to walk to and from your car.

Our stay at Palazzo di Pietro was nothing short of magical. Tucked right in the heart of Chania’s Old Town, this boutique property offers the perfect balance of local charm and comfort. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a thoughtful fruit basket and local wine—a gesture that immediately set the tone for the kind of hospitality we’d experience throughout our stay. The building itself is full of character, beautifully preserved, and immaculately clean. Our suite had everything we needed, and the rooftop terrace was a peaceful retreat each evening. We loved how walkable everything was—from quiet beaches to incredible dinners, boat tours, and all the energy of the Old Venetian Harbor. Yet, the property remained calm and serene, offering a restful escape at the end of each day. As a frequent traveler with my daughter, I look for accommodations that offer more than just a place to sleep—and Palazzo di Pietro exceeded expectations. It’s the kind of stay that sticks with you long after you leave. Highly recommended for anyone wanting authentic Cretan warmth, unbeatable location, and a truly special stay in Chania.

Sejour La Canee

Nous avons passe un agréable sejour au Palazo di petra. Notre hote etait d une tres grande gentillesse pleine d attentions et de bons conseils. La chambre etait grange et confortable, tres propre et bien aménagée. Pas de bruit venant de la rue et pourtant en plein centre.

From the cobblestone streets to the nearby harbor, everything you could want to explore is just steps away. The building itself carries a rich and fascinating history, which you can feel as soon as you walk through the doors. At the same time, the property has been thoughtfully updated, blending historical elegance with modern-day comforts while beautifully preserving its character while offering every convenience you’d expect. What truly makes Palazzo di Pietro unforgettable, however, is the staff. Exceptionally hospitable, helpful, and warm, they made us feel immediately welcome and consistently cared for throughout our stay. As travelers in a foreign country, that sense of being genuinely looked after. We felt safe, supported, and even pampered. It was the little details that meant the world to us. If you’re looking for a place with heart, history, and five-star service in the most ideal part of Chania, Palazzo di Pietro is it. We can’t wait to return.
