Worst vacation of my life
I wouldn’t recommend a single thing from our stay. We came here for our honeymoon and experienced cockroaches, then fumigation with no warning or consideration for my pregnant wife. Along with water coming in from the ceiling, little to no action from staff when that was reported- to an “upgraded room” for our last night that ended up flooding. Two days of our trip was wasted recovering from the dirty water we were served. Very dangerous and disappointing stay. I strongly regret coming here. Save your money and go elsewhere! Also- be wary of the “vacation consultants” that greet you upon arrival. They will push you to meet with them the very first thing and agree to a 90-minute timeshare sales pitch. They care much more about sales than customers actual experience.

I recently stayed at the El Beso Adults-Only section of Ocean Riviera Paradise in Playa del Carmen, and it was a mostly enjoyable experience. Check-in was smooth and efficient, thanks to a wonderful lady at the El Beso counter who made us feel welcome from the start. The staff were friendly throughout, with team members like Azael contributing to a warm and helpful atmosphere, which added to the overall enjoyment of our stay. The suite itself was clean and comfortable, though there were a few maintenance issues that could be improved. The sink vanity was visibly warped, and the sinks leaked through holes in the P-traps, which was a minor inconvenience. Unfortunately, the main pool near the beach area was taped off for construction during my stay, limiting the lounge space on the beach, which was disappointing. Additionally, while some of the bar staff were attentive and friendly, others were less responsive, occasionally leaving guests waiting for service. In terms of guest diversity, I would have appreciated a broader mix of visitors, as I noticed very few guests of similar backgrounds, which did impact the social atmosphere somewhat. Overall, El Beso provides a pleasant adults-only experience with comfortable accommodations, friendly staff, and areas for improvement that could enhance future stays.

Liked that there were things to do and did have different restaurants. Buffet had better food than the actual restaurants though. The reservation restaurants had disappointing menus and food wasnt appealing. Drinks are very watered down and made too sweet. If going to enjoy the all inclusive drinking, just do shots.

Magnífico, definitivamente superaron mis expectativas ya que habíamos visto malos comentarios pero todo ha sido una excelente experiencia tanto en comida, en la limpieza de las habitaciones excelente, desconozco el nombre de la camarista pero le agrazco mucho, Enrique de recepción de el Beso nos dio un upgrade a la categoría swim up por celebrar nuestro cumpleaños, Fernando de servicio al huésped del lobby siempre estuvo al pendiente, Angie de infopoint nos ayudó a reservarnos por adelantado los restaurantes de especialidad y nos sugirió los días para ello, Luis del bar de el Beso hizo nuestros días más entretenidos en la barra, Carlos del restaurante Amaranto súper amable y servicial, en general toda nuestra experiencia fue muy amena, tanto que nos atrevemos a recomendarlo tanto viaje en pareja, familia, amigos o cumpleaños para toda ocasión, volveremos con toda la familia.

The staff were very helpful and friendly especially David in the dining area. The rooms were clean, I had the junior suit with the swim up pool. My only complaint was that I didn’t have hot hot water and my AC didn’t kick as cold as I would have wanted. I wasn’t a big fan of the stake house, word of advice make reservations for restaurants a day before in advance. Take full advantage of all that the resort offers.

So sad to see Mother Nature has been taking the beach. We were here 7 yrs ago and we had a beach. The facilities has been kept up over these years, but still needs some updates. Food was good and everyone was so friendly and helpful.
