Even though this is one of the newer hotels, my experience was far from great. I’ve been to plenty of other all-inclusive resorts, and this one is honestly the laziest. The dining options were very limited, with just one main restaurant open, offering a selection of generic American food. Unfortunately, the quality of the meals was reminiscent of the worst kind of high school cafeteria food—bland and uninspired.
The rooms were clean, but the pool/hot tub were iffy,
The customer service was beyond awful, especially from the male bartenders. They were inattentive, unwelcoming, and seemed to avoid serving guests unless you raised your voice to get their attention. One of the bartenders with dreads particularly stood out for his lack of customer service skills—he absolutely needs proper training. If it were up to me, I’d reconsider the entire male bartending staff, especially those serving drinks outdoors.
On the other hand, the female staff were hardworking, attentive, and friendly. I appreciated their effort and made sure to tip every single one of them whenever I could. While the hotel has potential, both the food and customer service need serious improvement before I would consider returning.”
