Pros - - We really enjoy this location because it’s walkable to the places we like to go. - Even when you have a room that doesn’t have a beach view the beach is right there. - We like the bar/restaurant there. - front desk staff always very nice. Cons - - This time we were in the building across the street (not on the beach side) And I will be sure to request that we only stay on the beach side of the road. - at least one of the entry points in that building was never locked, even though it was set up to require a key to get in. (? broken). - There was a very loud knock at 9:30 in the morning, asking if we needed towels. I think there were a few reasons why that annoyed me 1) There were two guests there were four towels and it was just one overnight stay. 2) We had the do not disturb sign out. 3) they also have a list that you can check off what you need and leave it on the door knob, Which we obviously did not have out. - Lastly, and this is not unique to this location because it seems to happen most places - Why are staff so loud outside of rooms in the morning? Either congregating and having their own very loud conversations or having their very loud conversations on their speakerphone?

No EV charging station
Information about Anchorage said EV charging was available but what was there was only an outdoor electrical outlet. This means one could plug in a trickle charger that takes two days to fully charge a vehicle. If I had not known about fast chargers in Kittery, the trip would have been unmanagable. Also access to the marginal way from the be property did not work for someone who needs an assistive device for mobility.

Die Anlage wurde bei Hotels.com angepriesen und wir haben daher diese Anlage auf unserer Rundreise gebucht. Als wir angekommen sind, sind wir nicht in dem Hotelgebäude untergebracht worden, was auf der Website gezeigt ist, sondern in einem Nebengebäude auf der anderen Straßenseite. Das Zimmer war Richtung Parkplatz zur Rückseite des Gebäudes gelegen.Das Zimmer war sehr abgenutzt. Ich habe die Rezeption angesprochen auf die doch sehr unterschiedlichen Informationen auf Hotels.com zu dem zugewiesenen Zimmer. Man hat mir nur mitgeteilt, dass Expedia und Hotels.com die „übriggebliebenen“ Zimmer bekommen und die guten Zimmer den Gästen vorbehalten sind, die direkt bei dem Hotel gebucht haben.
