Nice unit. Welcoming staff. Ground unit issues.

Nice, large room. The walls are a bit “thin.” We were able to hear every foot taken and conversation that took place in the upstair unit. Strongly suggest future travelers request the upstair unit (in buildings that have an upstairs). Workers were welcoming. I would stay there again, but in an upstair unit.

I felt safe but the room was just okay. It was clean but old and in need of an updating. The property is clean and grounds are taken care of, but it has seen better days. The price was low so it was worth the money if you don't expect a fancy room.

Didn't use the air conditioning, but the baseboard heater worked well. They didn't have comfortable chairs to sit in. The bed was okay. The room was clean. Very, very rustic and dark.

The room was super homey, cozy and clean! I wish we stayed here for more than just one night! Location was great, highly recommend the pizza place next door and the gas station next door on the other side was super convenient. The front desk receptionist was lovely and let us store our luggage there after checkout as we had heard that there were break ins at trailheads on the north cascades highway. Lots of hang out areas on the property both inside and outside so great for groups. Overall a peaceful area to stay!

Glamping?

Stay was ok, I knew it be just an inn but it’s in a much older condition that I thought. Not clean and of course there are spider webs and flies/moths that kept getting inside. No refrigerator (I should have looked that up prior) at least they had a coffee maker for my tea for hot water. You can also hear all the footsteps and noise level from second floor. This noise also woke us up at 5am when neighbors were getting ready. It was like camping but with a bed.Again, I didn’t expect much but this was even more rustic than expected. Just glad my partner was patient on this one.

Office was supposed to be open until 9. Check in between 3 and 6. We got there at 5:45 and no one was there. We were not able to ask any questions about the area like where to eat dinner or breakfast the next morning. Key was in an envelope with our name. We were told if we checked in after 6 this would happen. Room was very spacious but walls are very thin. We could hear people around us.

Rustikales Wester-Motel

Die Möbel haben teilweise ihre besten Zeiten hinter sich. Das Zimmer roch ein wenig nach Lagerfeuer. Jedoch waren die Betten sehr bequem. Es gibt eine tolle Dusche, die endlich mal guten Wasserdruck liefert. An der Sauberkeit war nichts auszusetzen. Die Balkontür ist mit einem Fliegengitter versehen. Die Klimaanlage befindet sich in dem Zweibettzimmer sehr nah am Bett. Da es nachts nur 5°C hatte, ließen wir die Klima aus und öffneten die Balkontür. Auch der Rest der Anlage ist sehr charmant. Einkaufsmöglichkeit ist direkt nebenan.

Stay at the Virginian Resort

The room is large, under counter refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker are in the room and appreciated. The room needs up-dating with new carpet. The outdoor area is great. Overall a good place to stay

You win some you lose some

We loved the people there and it was cute and loved the view of the river on the balcony upstairs. We didn’t eat any of the food, but it was disappointing to not watch TV when we got home, the bathroom floors and bathtub were quite dirty, and the power went out with no generator, which was OK because it was at night, but it was disappointing when I had to go to the bathroom with no light.
