Overall, this is a good hotel and our stay was very pleasant. There were just two things that disappointed us about this hotel.
1.) The pool was closed when we were there. They said it was for 'maintenance'. But this seems to occur way too often with hotels now and we suspect that the staff is trying to avoid the extra work of cleaning or maintaining the pool area, so they close it down claiming "maintenance" issues. Please don't advertise the pool on your website if you are unable to make it available for guests. If there really was a problem with the pool, I apologize for our suspicion.
2.) We're not fans of watching the rabid hatred and ridiculous conspiracy theories spewed out on Fox News on the giant TV in the lobby/dining area. I don't want anyone's politics rammed down my throat while I'm trying to enjoy my breakfast in the morning. Let me enjoy my vacation.
In spite of the hotel's choice of "entertainment", the free breakfast offered by the hotel was very nicely done with a lot of delicious options. We appreciated the breakfast staff's efforts to keep the food fresh, hot, and fully stocked. The rest of the hotel staff was very freindly and attentive and the hotel was quiet and clean.
We would consider staying there again.
