Hotel Britannia is a classy, comfortable hotel just outside the main part of the city. Breakfasts were great and the staff was amazingly helpful especially when we had some car issues. (We were able to park there but if you are driving it is probably better to plan on parking in town and taking the bus that conveniently stops right at the hotel.) The only complaint we had is that the water in the hot tub was not very warm.

A beautiful hotel, very welcoming. Outstanding roof-top terrace with jacuzzi. Lovely terrace with lemon trees. Desk staffed at all times with knowledgeable, welcoming employees. Loved the balcony! Staff very accommondating.

Great stay at this hotel. Lovely big room with balcony and amazing view of Vesuvius. Fifteen to twenty minutes walk to centre of Sorrento with spectacular views along the way. Staff were wonderful and nothing was a problem. Special mention to Andrea who was so friendly & helpful. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

We really liked the hotel! The staff was so nice, we ate at a great restaurant up the hill a little way and it was about 10-15 walk into the big downtown of Sorrento. The beds were not the most comfortable - but overall, the location, staff and the hotel were great!

Excellent hotel which is very clean and has excellent staff. The rooftop terrace with jacuzzi is beautiful. There is also an excellent restaurant nearby.

This is probably the best hotel I ever stayed in. It was such a pleasure to stay there. Giuseppe and his father and all the staff are true gentlemen. The hotel is super clean. Everything is very convenient. The breakfast was nice and fresh. Giuseppe was super helpful in helping us come up with an intenirary. His recommendations were on point. He was so friendly and such an amazing person. I will always stay here when I visit Sorrento. Stay here if you want a safe, clean, friendly, above and beyond service. Worth every dollar.

I'm so glad we chose to stay a little outside the city center. The gorgeous walk to town would have been missed otherwise. The views were incredible from our room. The staff was not only helpful but seemed to love their work which made our stay even more enjoyable. If I get the blessing of visiting Sorrento again, this is where I will stay.

We loved being just outside of Sorrento. It is more quiet than in town but only a short walking distance to town. The included breakfast made our days easier, especially when we had early tours. The friendly atmosphere made our time there very comfortable. The rooftop hot tub and lounge chairs were very relaxing during our down time.

This hotel is run as if family run. Every single staff member we met throughout the entire stay was amazingly helpful and lovely and went out of their way to make our stay more enjoyable. The front desk staff were all amazingly attentive and could not stop offering us recommendations and assistance. The breakfast had a lot of options and the hotel itself is in walking distance from the main area of Sorrento, but quiet enough to feel separate. There is a bus from right outside the front doorstep if the ten minute walk is too much. We would definitely stay again.

This Hotel had amazing staff. They were accommodating and friendly. The hotel is about 25 minutes walk from the center of Sorrento so it can be a bit of walk but the views were amazing as it sits above the town.
