Photos don’t accurately show the motel.
The hotel was OK. However, the photos are not accurate. The photos on the website showed the back of the hotel not the front. It also shows that the hotel is black, not beige and makes it appears though it’s somewhat of a high-rise which it is not. The front of the hotel shows that you have outside entrances to each room which I felt uncomfortable with and would not have booked that I know that. Apparently they painted the motel so it’s beige not black. The rooms were good for the price but very dusty, housekeeping definitely does not do a good job. The towels were so thin you could see through them. I attached photos. And it was obviously by the mirror in the bathroom that had not been cleaned properly, but overall for the price it wasn’t bad.
The rooms have outside entrances, which I was not comfortable with. The photos on the website indicate or make it appear as though the rooms all have indoor entrances.

This is the front of the hotel when you pull in. If you compare the photos to the website photos, you can see that there is no resemblance at all.
This is the top of the nightstand. I didn’t realize how Dusty was until I moved a few things around.

What Was
The lobby looked nice, but the individual who checked us in offered no information about the hotel. The color scheme was dark throughout the hotel. When walking to the restaurant, the sewage smell was prominent. I grew up in Pikeville, and there was a time when the Landmark Inn hotel and restaurant was top notch. This was a disappointing experience overall.

stayed extra day to visit more with great granddat
the hotel room we had was nie enough.the problem was trying to get the door open,it stuck really bad,to the point my wife could not pull it open even when properly unlocked for access.the other problem could have been the parking.there wereonly two handicap spots available for the whole front section (3floors )we were in.fortunately we were able to park in an unauthorized lot because it (the first night) was the weekend.we just had to get back to the hotel early in the pm after that to ensure we got one of the 2 handicap spaces.I suspect this parking problem exists throughout this area as space is at a premium everywhere.the hotel room itself,other than being configured weirdly was fine.the weird thing was the bathroom sink beihg right by the entrance then after traversing the hallway into the room,you see the bathroom on the right.If you use the bathroom toilet then you have to come out into the bedroom,down the hall to wash your hands..

I always love staying at the Landmark! No fancy frills, clean rooms, good comfortable beds. There are food options nearby and the Mexican restaurant on the 4th floor is very good!
