No manager on site
We were there late November, which is off season. For that reason, it was pretty quiet. The rooms were very clean and well stocked with plenty of towels and wash clothes. The bathroom was very small and it took a LONG time to get hot water! Good water pressure, tho. The kitchenette was perfect for a short stay. It was supplied with a small refrigerator, microwave and a pod coffee maker. The biggest beef I had with our visit was trying to communicate with the management. Apparently, on-site personnel is MIA in motels these days. A keyless entry code is supplied and if you don’t enter it correctly, it locks you out! Same with their smart tv (no cable- you supply your own streaming services). Again, a phone call must be made to correct any issues! They did answer the calls and were able to help, but I’m not happy with how complicated it was. I think it would be a good idea to provide better instructions prior to check in.

Cute rooms, great service, excellent location!
The name drew me in and I couldn't have asked for a better stay! I got in late in the evening, and all of the staff was very accommodating and considerate. The room was comfortable and adorable, and the proximity to the beach cannot be beat. Hope to return and stay again!

This was the perfect place at the best price to spend a long weekend in Carolina Beach. It's small and has the old-world charm of a seaside motel that has been lost among the commercial high-rise hotels. Each room is different but charming in its own unique way. There's a lovely deck where we had a wine and cheese happy hour as we watched the sunset. The motel has direct access to the beach and boardwalk. The center of the boardwalk shops is just a short walk away. The staff was so friendly and helpful, particularly Heather. She provided anything we requested and was always available if we needed assistance. Will definitely return!

Clean, good size rooms with outdoor seating area on the walkway (second floor has view of ocean from this walkway). There is also a shared deck overlooking the ocean. Located on boardwalk with walkway to the beach. Many restaurants in walking distance. Fun stay for good price.

Roaches, mold, stained linens and towels, slippery and dirty floors that literally made the bottom of our feet brown, one-ply toilet paper, loose outlets, etc. One day we went to exchange our towels and the front desk was closed, so we never got fresh towels. There was a dog in a room nearby that wouldn’t stop barking. The bar across the street was playing very loud music late into the evening on a Sunday. We won’t stay here again.
