Thumbs up for BW in Seneca SC
It was fine. Good breakfast. The eggs tasted fresh and were hot. They had biscuits and gravy that was really good. Even though we put the environment card on the bed they changed the linens and towels. Our only complaint was that one of the sheer curtains was ripped. It was a pleasant stay. The staff was friendly.

I don't think there's much unique about the Best Western in Seneca. But It scored very high for me. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The bathroom facilities, including the tub/shower were above average. The included breakfast was great. (I was only sorry that I couldn't partake on both mornings of my stay.) The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The only negative, and it was tiny and eventually resolves by the staff, was that the TV remote in the room was basically nonfunctional as the battery was close to dead. A new battery changed everything. One suggestion I would make is that the signage as to where the entrance is on Rt. 123 is not good. The big sign helps but there really needs to be a small sign, right at the bottom of the driveway, that indicates it's the Best Western driveway. It's too easy to miss.

Didn't stay at hotel since they were trying to charge my debit card almost double the cost of the quoted price. I opted to pay on check-in not prior to. I called the hotel since they sent me emails regarding the charges and they were pretty unprofessional and saying they are in high demand and that the room was more expensive on Saturday, that was not noted on my reservation receipt. These things all made me decide to stay elsewhere. I honestly was concerned that I would find myself being surprised with another higher cost on day 2 check out. The entire conversation and incident made me a bit uncomfortable to say the least. When you choose the option to pay on arrival they shouldn't be charging my card with out a phone call first.

First I chose it because of the marketing photos that you have of the property with a pool in the back drop of Pine trees but mainly the breakfast was included with the price. When I arrived and checked in only to find it was for handicapped accessible, not what I requested. My room was changed and up on further inspection with my glasses on they were stains on the cushions the small "Loveseat" they were attempted to be cleaned. The bathroom had an sour odor perhaps due to the Vent fan not operational above the shower and the toilet only a guest!!!!! I would suggest also getting a machine for fresh coffee not the pre-mixed the most horrible tasting coffee??? I've ever tasted, breakfast was okay however. D D That's all folks

BED BUGS Recently stayed here with family. Let me get straight to point. Bed bugs in room caught on blanket next morning. I would not expect bed bugs in room when I am paying almost $200 a night: I understand they can come but then that is part of management to take care off. Got the room changed but my wife got bites second night. Fortunately she didn’t had bites first night. I told them they can be in other room also. After second night experience I would not stop putting this. Staff was courteous . Breakfast is kind of Ok. See the pics. Never recommend and probably will not stay in best western anymore.
