Newly remodeled. Pretty good experience all the way around. Cost is better than other casinos and it’s not a bad place to stay.

Room was nice but the air conditioner was very loud and it got hot in the night. Worked fine in the day. Good coffee in room. The room was very clean and lots of room to move around. Staff was great.

Unfortunately, we were no shows due to getting lost. My sister got food poisoning and fell out of car but it wasn't moving thank goodness. Anyways we ended up at another hotel so the trip cost us double but we had been lost for 6 hours. We just wanted to sleep. I did call several times and was hoping for a refund but unfortunately y'all used the gift card and I would appreciate a change in isuing a refund I completely understand if you can't. We have to come back in July and we will definitely being staying at horshoe lake Charles because we are high-roller gamblers. Can't wait to stay in July. Blessings and peace, Stacy Jones

The hotel is lovely, staff were good too. only problem we had was the pool was closed and we had to wait for the manager to return from a meeting as he had the ONLY key.

We followed the signs for parking but when we entered the building we found we were at the back of the facility and had to walk all the way around the check-in and halfway back to get to our room. The elevators were not clearly marked causing even more walking. After driving all day and with a husband with a bad back, this was disappointing. The receptionist suggested we move our car to the front and have a bellman assist us. There was no parking near the front door. The room and overall facility was gorgeous and new. Unfortunately my husband was unable to enjoy it.

It was very nice and quiet. The only PROBLEM was the temperature of the room. It was very muggy and humid in room. When you took a shower, it was so humid that everything fogged up TV mirror everything. The floors were slippery. It was very humid in that room unless you had it on 65 the whole time.

I will never use this property again. There is NO place for breakfast food other than a donut shop. Not what I wanted. Security personnel were so unfriendly when approached with any questions. Unfriendly atmosphere.

The place was nice we only had a couple of complaints the bathroom sink drain was slow running . The room AC seems to not get cold enough for me. I did go home with more money than I came with
