No Frills somewhat Eco Price
Just average stay however towels and bed sheets were dirty and there was a hole in the ceiling from roof leak. Just cheap place to stay.

Okay stay. Definitely needs a better cleaning as my daughter stepped on glass by the bed and cut her foot. Mentioned it to them and got a smile. Not sure if he understood what I was saying.

Don’t waste your money!
Awful hotel. Staff barely spoke English and didn’t really seem to have a clue what he was doing. Room was not clean and smelled like someone had been smoking in. Staff said all rooms non smoking and offered air freshener as a solution. We kept on being woken up through the night from the smell of smoke which would only mean someone was smoking outside in the room next door. They need a smoking area away from the rooms in my opinion.

Horrible, a disaster, needs an update urgently
The photos on your website are fake. The room that was supposed to be non-smoking smelled like cigarettes. The room was dirty, the bathtub was yellowish and you could tell it hadn't been cleaned with hair. The The bed was hard and made noise every time I lay down. We ended up with back pain. The carpet was disgustingly dirty. My husband and I bought Lisol to kill the smell of cigarettes and household products.cleaning so we could stay there, because we could no longer cancel the booking. We asked for another room and they didn't have another "non smoking" one. This stay was truly a nightmare. Do not book at this resort, it is a disaster.

Ok motel
Very basic motel. Other reviews and pictures are kind of misleading. It was ok for the price and the short notice we booked our trip. I would rate it more in the 7 scale, not 8+. Room was fairly clean, but small improvements could be made. On a Main Street, so a little noise, but tolerable.

It was OK but nothing to write home about!
It was very noisy. A couple trains went through in the middle of the night. The property wasn't kept up to the level I expected. It was a little shady on the walk home at night.

A Decent Place to Stay
The management is good. The property and grounds are well kept. It is an older building. There is a train that makes some noise at times, though it wasn’t a real problem. When the windows and doors were closed the road noise was minimal. It’s not luxurious though the price was right and met my needs.

I've been on a two week cross country motorcycle trip and this was by far the best place I stayed. The staff is incredible. Steve in the evening and T in the morning were incredibly kind and accomodating, and very enjoyable to chat with (I'm sure T was excited Liverpool beat Villa today and City lost out 🙄 lol). The property is definitely walkable to historic downtown, but also close enough for a cheap Lyft. Other cool spots are just a few mins walking distance away. I highly recommend this quaint little property over the brand name motels nearby.
