The room looked good at first for what we were expecting. The shower was a bit dirty. Could see dirt on the walls from either a previous person's stay or a dirty cloth. One of my kids left a Gatorade one the ground before bed and by the morning the entire floor was covered in ants and we were on the second floor. I have had better experiences in the actual hotel.

Our first introduction was not being told where the Lodge is compared to the casino hotel. The front desk checked us in, never asking if we knew where the Lodge was. After wandering around for 10 minutes we ended up back at the front desk and were misinformed that we could take the elevator there. Well, the Lodge is a separate building on the other side of the parking lot and a gas station! It’s not even walking distance with luggage! Although the room was very spacious and tried to be modernized, it fell short. Upon arrival we found the kitchen trash can was full and a used towel still hanging in the bathroom. The combo microwave/convection oven were too complicated to use—no directions. The curtains weren’t hung properly so they didn’t close and the porch light shined over the bed all night. Not a good experience

The room was nice and in a quiet, secluded location. The staff were super nice and accommodating. The bed wasn’t super comfy and the water pressure in the shower was very rough. Nonetheless, overall a great stay!

Have stayed here before - was in the unit adjacent to the gas station on the other side of the casino so much quieter. Exterior access, upstairs unit facing the mountains. Nice view. Odd thing is that the showers had body wash and shampoo but no conditioner. Not a big deal, but unexpected.

The check in area is too far away from the room. We had to walk almost 2 blocks to get from CVI to the motor lodge. We are old and’s can’t walk easily. You should have check in at the motor lodge or a shuttle service to and from the lodge. Our keys didn’t work when we finally got to our room and we had to call CVI again to tell them. We couldn’t walk back to the registration desk to get new keys. CVI did send engineering over to open our door but there was no place for us to even sit while we waited. Otherwise the room was nice but terribly inconvenient. I am surprised CVI would run the hotel that way.
