Disappointed with this stay. We've been here several times without any issues but this time was different. The room was clean but: - the tv didn't work - the heat/AC unit on the wall wouldn't turn off - the bathroom sink was slow to drain - the coat rack hanging on the wall was in the most inconvenient spot. It was hard to get to one side of the bed without running into it. - the quality/options of the breakfast has declined. I don’t know if this is just a one time occurrence or the new normal. For the money it's still an OK place but if this is what it looks like going forward it's no longer a good value. If we had paid more it would be 1 or 2 stars at most.

Easy stopover in the UP

Very clean and large but basic older room. Perfectly sufficient for our travels. Wonderful staff who were professional and very friendly.

Older motor Inn. I liked how they have enclosed the walkway to the rooms. Kind of a retro feel, yet clean and everything worked.

Parking in breakfast was okay. The two rooms that I was in on separate reservations could use more lighting. There's no lamp or lighting over the desk area. That to me was a major disappointment. And the other thought that I had when I stayed in the double queen beds and if there had been four people in that room but only one chair. I thought that was kind of weird. There is a lot of space for at least two chairs.

Staff was friendly and service was quick. Rooms were clean but in our opinion the beds were hard. Lol, some like their mattresses hard to the point you can't feel your bed partner move. Me? I'd like to not feel like im sleeping on a board. Breakfast was a little disappointing. Scrambled eggs, french toast sticks, a loaf of white bread with butter, peanut butter and grape jelly for options. Cold cereal and a few mini muffins. Juice & coffee. No meat, fruit, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, bagels, English muffins or biscuits and gravy as many places offer. Just very lacking.

I had booked and paid online. When I got there in person they tried to say that Expedia had booked me in by mistake and that they had a “better” room for a higher price. I said no, I already paid. Showed them my confirmation receipt and said this is my room. Then they tried to say my card hadn’t gone through when I checked my bank accounts and they had already taken the money out of my account. I demanded my room. The parking could be better lit on the cedar looking side. The hotel room itself was ok for cleanliness, the bathroom not cleaned well at all. I would highly suggest someone strip all the old caulking out and replace it professionally! Needs ip dates badly.

Room smelled bad, no housekeeping unless you request it. Breakfast was a waste of time. Noisy, with room next store yelling about shower not working. I left a day early without being able to cancel.

Run down and beat up walls. Dirty floor, bad lighting, with only 1 light in the entire bedroom area. Air condtioner did not have a cover just the coils showing. only 2 pillows, I asked for more and got 1. Never going back there

Decent but dim

There were only 2 small lamps in the entire room so it was dim. Also no towel racks in the bathroom. The place has been recently remodeled, but I would have filled the room just a bit more with queen beds, a nicer chair, and a bigger TV. The room was quite large with mostly open floor space.
